There was a trail- not TOO obvious, but a definite trail- that looked like some beast had ran through in a hurry.

Chris lead the way smirking and smiling a bit. The men shifted nervously at the sight of the trail.

Garin also led the way down the trail, perhaps a half a mile behind the Satars, but close enough so that they could see them. "Those cursed Satars are ahead of us," one soldier grunted. "We may have to deal with them later, if they are going to the same place we are."

Suddenly a few doomkillers burst out of their places before the Satar troops. They stood there for a second, growling, then turned tail and fled. Dydri waited perhaps half a mile ahead of that point, engaging the attention of the self-proclaimed speaker for the gods.
"No, I won't let it rest! I don't believe at all that you are doing the will of the gods by causing the war."

The Satarian army quickly disintergrated into chaos as men ran literally in circles screaming "DRAGON!". Chris kicks his horse into a gallop and slips away unnoticed.

Once his army reached the doomkillers, Garin also managed to slip away during the chaos.
