This takes place in a world. A world that I made up. I even drew a map. The world is called Kaylarr. Time for a description: Darkin Darkin is one of the two major kingdoms of Kaylarr. It is a huge castle surrounded by the vast Darkin City. It is home to King Alexander Darkin VI. Satar Satar is the other major kingdom of Kaylarr. Like Darkin, it consists of a huge castle surrounded by a city. King Micha Satar IV lives there. Darkin's Mountains The Darkin Mountains are a huge mountain range at the north of Kaylarr. Scattered on the mountains are watchtowers that the kingdom of Darkin uses to watch over almost all of Kaylarr up until the ocean. The Satar Plains The Satar Plains is an area of vast grassland leading up to the woods and the Darkin Mountains. Bandits and Goblins sometimes waylay travelors here, but not as much as the Goblin Forest. Goblin Forest The Goblin Forest was given its name because of the large number of Goblins and Bandits that inhabit it. Travelors fear these woods because of this. Great River The Great River starts out at a waterfall at the Darkin Mountains. It cuts through the Goblin Forest and empties out into the sea. Hildar Village Hildar Village is a small town about 30 miles south of Darkin. It is home to most villagers who don't live in the big cities. Satar Shipyard Although it is nearly 50 miles south of Satar, the Satar Shipyard belongs to this kingdom nonetheless. Ships belonging to Satar or anyone willing to pay a fee dock here. There is a small village surronding the shipyard, and a fery few people live here. Great Sea Very few people travel the Great Sea, because it is home to pirates. The pirates often dock at the desert island called the Lone Island. Very few people know what is beyond this island, save for the ocean.

Okay, time to talk about the races; Humans The humans inhabit almost every town and city in Kaylarr. They have no special powers (save for magic-users) but they are still the dominent species in the world. Elves Some Elves wander the lands of Kaylarr, hunting for food and occasionally stopping at a town or city. Others decide to live a more civilized life among the humans, where they buy homes in towns and cities. It is rumored among the humans that the wandering Elves are planning to make a kingdom of their own, possibly in the Gobin Woods. Dwarves A very few dwarves live among the humans, but many seemed to have dissapeard. It is rumored that they live in caves and underground tunnels, possibly even building cities there.
Here's a few things you might like to know: 1. Tension is growing between Darkin and Satar. Many people think that they will be at war before long. 2. Rumors speak of a dragon living in a cave at the side of the mountain in the Darkin Mountains. They say it's on the same mountain where the waterfall is.
Rules: There are none! Well, other than godmoding and powerplaying, anyways... You can basically do anything you want. Start a war between Darkin and Satar. Help prevent one. Defeat the pirates who raid the Great Sea. Investigate the cave at the Darkin Mountains and see if there really is a dragon. Start out by flirting with another character, then by the end of the RP get married and settle down in Hildar Village. Do anything and everything! Oh, and the starting location; anywhere in Kaylarr that you want! All the characters don't have to start in the same place. Sound exiting? I hope so. Let's get this RP started!

Chris walks through the market. He smiles as a very dumb thief trys to take his money. Chris kicks the kid away. Then walks out of the market, his sword swinging at his side.

Ellaniza (El-uh-n-ie-sa. Yes, I'm dorky enough to put pronounciation.... Sue me. ^_^) was one of these 'lasting dwarves'. She busily moved back and forth, jumping up and down to get attention for her market booth. Her height had prevented any human from seeing there was indeed a person there.
The dwarf had spent about 7 years trying to fight out the struggle of living with human. She wanted to prove that they could somehow get along. But back in the mountains, the older ones didn't think of it so. The 15 year old sighed, sitting on a curb of the street. Thats when the theif came to her booth, taking a few of the treasures she had collected to sell over the years.
"Get back here!" she yelled at him, noticing he was already gone.
Ellaniza tied her copper hair back with a piece of string, and began to pack up. The city was becoming to be a hassle.

(Oh no, you didn't understand the world... Kaylarr is the world itself, not a city. There are lots of cities, and woods and wilderness and mountains, and you can start anywhere...)

Dydri hopped off the ship she had been stowing away on as it pulled into Satar Shipyard. Her familiar Cir clung to her shoulder as she slipped into the city, wondering what to do next. Nine black shadows seemed to follow her off the ship, then dissapeared into the actual shadows.

Leaning against a building in Satar shipyard was a pirate named Kairon. He had a sword sheathed at his side. He was a pirate captain, and he had a number of objectives at the moment. No one knew he was a pirate, so he was perfectly safe. Seeing Dydri, he called her. "Lass!" he called. "Come here a moment, will ye?"
(This is a very different Kairon than the one in the other RP, by the way.)

((This is the same Dydri. ;D With an added power. But you don't know that.)) Dydri drifted over to Kairon, usual vauge look in her eyes. "Yes?"

"You know, trouble is stirring between those two kingdoms, Darkin and Satar," said Kairon. "I am a Satar native, but I prefer the sea. Anyways, there's a war that's supposed to break out between the kingdoms soon. At least, that's what they say." Kairon chuckled.

"So I've heard. How's this concern me?"

"Well, that depends on who you are," said Kairon. "Whether you're just a commoner, maybe a soldier, or..." he paused. "A pirate?" He had a strange accent; a combination of the typical pirate dialect, and almost a Dwarven accent, even though he was clearly human.

"None of the above," Dydri answered happily. "I've come to see the place and maybe go talk to that dragon there's supposed to be."
