Garin plunged his sword into the nearest one. When he pulled the sword out, he saw that even though the dog was dead, his sword was now on fire. He began to wave it around, occasionally stomping on it with his foot to get it out.

Dydri put her sword out by stomping on it as the Doomkillers finished off the remaining dogs.

Once the fire on the sword was out, he looked around to see all of the dogs dead. "Coward," he muttered. "Leaving behind his minions instead of facing us himself..."
