Kairon walked onto the grass and breathed in the fresh air. Even if it wasn't for the rest of the group, it was good to be out of that place.

The light outside didn't affect Lini. She had been staring at the fire in the tunnels, so her eyes were use to light.

Kairon sighed and got back on his knees near Jaszun. "Are you gonna be able to walk with us?" he asked. He was aware that she couldn't talk in her panther form, but he knew she could probably give some sort of signal that meant "Yes" or "No".

She'd had time to recover from the shock of the daylight now. She could sorta see now if she squinted a rediculous amount. So she got up and gave a nod.

(Garin is in various other RP's, but this is Kairon.)
At sundown, Kairon stopped and said, "We'd better camp out for the night." They were in a forest, but they weren't very deep in. Kairon had purposefully avoided the heart of the forest, because he knew it was inhabited by goblins. "There are goblins in these woods," he said to the others. "We've managed to avoid the worst areas, but we'd better take turns taking watch over the night, just as a caution."

(YAY!!! This was actually my first RP here, and all my best ideas are here, so I can't tell how much it means that it's revived... Okay, now I'm getting overly dramatic...)
Kairon shrugged. "Fine by me. You can go first then. Wake me up in a few hours and I'll take a shift, I suppose..." He was already setting up a bedroll from his pack. "Does everyone have something to sleep on?" he asked. "I only have one bedroll, I'm not accustomed to travelling in groups..."
But the feeling is good for a change. The unconscious thought just rose up in the back of his mind... He quickly shrugged it off.

Jaszun climbed up a tree with ease where she took a perch on a sturdy branch that allowed her to see everything beneath her. It was good to be outside again. The air was clean here. It brought some life back to her. Despite the objective of their stroll she felt quite at peace as she watched a slight mist rolling gently through the trees. Above her was something she hadn't seen since her capture. Stars and a bright full moon.
