Yet Another Medieval/Fantasy RP...

[Kengplant]

Jaszun backed away from the fallen bodies. She'd never killed anyone on purpose before. The panther had, but she had only been a witness to those. She'd never believed that she herself would be able to do it.

She was panting from the encounter. She looked around at the others as if to say, "now what?"

[OG Loc]

"We need to get outta here," said Kairon. "Let's check out the room the mages came from."

[Zylaa]

Faustus turned into a monkey and walked into the room the mages had come from again.

[OG Loc]

Kairon followed. He saw a chest lying on the ground. He reached for the set of keys in his pocket and tried them all. One of them opened the chest. "Hey, it's all our stuff!" he said. He tossed the guard's sword aside and picked up his own sharper sword. He also distributed the gear to everyone from the original party (everyone but Jaszun, Kara, and Sesastine). He looked back into the chest with dismay. "My dagger ain't here," he said.

[Zylaa]

Faustus shrugged. "Maybe they have it. Or maybe they put it somewhere special."

[OG Loc]

Kairon went back to check the bodies, but didn't find his dagger. Cursing under his breath, he went back into the chamber. He looked at an open book that Kathar was previously writing in. His face lit up. "Hey," he said. "It's a log or something; could be useful to find out why we were imprisoned." He flipped through it, then stopped abruptly at one page. "My dagger," he said quietly. "It says here that my dagger was important. Strong magical forces came from it. That's one reason why we were imprisoned, so they could study it." He read more. "He also captured is because of his interest in Lini's fire ability and Fautus' shapeshifting. It looks like they were watching us for some time; they know we defeated Vadek." He flipped over to some previous pages. "They were also astounded about Jaszun's ability to change into a panther, and how the panther was almost a different being from Jaszun. That was why they had her imprisoned. These guys are really interested in magic." Flipping over some more pages, Kairon told the group that, according to what he read, the dagger was being held safely inside a magical tower in the East. He showed the group a drawn out map of the country with the tower circled.

"Wow. These people were following what we did." Lini wasn't sure weather to be amazed that she would be that important or to be dismayed at what the people had done. "That is why they took our wepons. I guess they under valued us. I wonder why they wanted to... sudy us." Lini took some gear that they had stored in that room. " I wonder if they have anyone else."

[OG Loc]

Kairon flipped through the book a little more. "According to this, there were no other prisoners in this dungeon," he said. "However, there is one prisoner supposedly being held at the same tower where they apparently took my dagger. A sorcerer." He paused. "The prisoner is gonna be excecuted in about a week," he said. "Apparently, another group of wizards at the tower were done studying him. Seems this... cult of dark mages is even more widespread than we thought."

Jaszun was listening to all this, but at the same time trying to figure out how to turn back into a human. She couldn't talk as an animal like Fautus could. Not much luck there. Maybe it would be better if she stayed as a panther for now anyway. In case they came across more guards.

[Zylaa]

Faustus narrowed her eyes suspiciously. "So we now have a creepy stalker cult? Let's storm the tower and find out more."

[kittygirl]

"Execute?" said lini with horror in her voice. "So there are more of this wizard cult. Well we have to go save that sorcerer. He or she is going to DIE! So let's get some maps and possibly more wepons."

[OG Loc]

"I'm with Lini," said Kairon. "We need to save whoever. Faustus is right, too; we do need to find out more. Plus... Well, I'd like to get that dagger back, to be honest. Maybe you don't understand, but that dagger has saved my life more than once and... Well, it's just important to me."

[Zylaa]

Faustus nodded, even though she didn't understand.

[OG Loc]

"Okay, so is it agreed? We go to tower, save sorcerer, find out more about cult, and get my prized possession back?" said Kairon.

Sesatine searched about and found a decent magic staff to use to replace her old, lost one. The staff was made for demons which would restrict some of Sesatine's moves, but none the less, most spells could be used.

Kara snatched up a few tokens to get some pretty coins herself when they get back to the village. She could care less about some dumb dagger, all she wanted was to get on another adventure and get this other with.

If they were going into the tower, however, the place would be heavily laid with boobytraps. The Tower of Blood would not fail its name.

{Gosh, I'm still hooked on Prince of Persia. Now when you mention a tower, I think of ones in PoP that soar all the way into the clouds and hold sand monsters and extremely insane traps.}
