"What if you are an elemental? Think what will change if you are an elemental. Then examine the choices you have. Then choose the right one."

Yra growled. "I'm not an elemental, okay?!" she said, crossing her arms over her chest. She knew very well that they were right. She didn't want to admit it in front of them because she was still furious at them for scaring her out of her wits, without any warning.

Yra growled. "I don't need to think about it! I'm not an elemental and that's it!" she exclaimed.
Daniel sighed. His sister had to be the most stubborn person on earth.
"Besides, even if I was an elemental, nothing would change. I'd still be the same person, I'd still live the same boring life and I'd still do the same stupid things." she added.

"That is the point. If you are the same person wheather you are an elemental or not why won't you admit it? What is it going to change? You just answered that. Nothing, exept you may have more fun than you are now." Lisha knew that this girl was an elemental, and the longer Yra denided the more Lisha wanted her to admit.

"The only reason I won't admit anything is because there's nothing to admit. And I don't see how being an elemental would make me have more fun. It's like, Oh joy, I can fool around with my element and possibly hurt myself and or others! What fun!" exclaimed Yra, her foice full of sarcasm.

Noelani frowned. "Well, I sure wouldn't want to have your element. Fire is boring. You do have a point."
Xavier gave her an annoyed glance. "You're not helping," he told her.
Noel shrugged. She was getting bored.
"There's another thing," said Storm. "Being an elemental is far more than just fun and games. When something comes up, who do you think is going to fix it? A forest fire - Xavier could fix that. A drought - I could help. You see what I mean? You don't just learn to live with it. You learn to use it to your advantage, and for the good of others."

Lisha looked Yra in the eye, "Are you having fun?" Straight and to the point. Then to Storm, "What could I do with my element; wind?"

"Look your going to have to deal with your element some time. If you got mad and killed someone then what?"

Yra sighed and decided that discussing things calmly would be more help than just refusing to admit she was an elemental.
"If you're able to help, you're also able to destroy- one isn't without the other." she told Storm. "When there's a good side to things, there's always a bad side."
"Yes, but it also means that if there's a bad side, there's also a good side." remarked Daniel.
"True, but I don't want to debate right now." she replied and turned back to Storm. "Who said that everything needs to be fixed? Some things happen for a good reason and shouldn't be stopped. Even if some things are bad in general- forest fires, for example- some of them are actually a good thing. When the old trees burn down, they leave minerals behind, making the soil richer, therefore allowing new life to grow on these grounds."

"And when your house burns down that will give good nutriants to the soil as well?" Lisha lightly touched on a subjuct that was very delecate.

Yra glared at Lisha. "I never said anything about houses." she said quickly, her voice shaking slightly.

Xavier stepped forward. "Look," he said. "Fire is a dangerous thing. I should know. A fire elemental with their element out of control can be deadly. But when your power is harnessed, you can do a lot more than make fire. You can completely control it - enhance it, put it out, whatever. I wish I'd known that to begin with." He sighed and spoke in an unusually gentle voice. "You're not the only one to lose a home."
