Lisha's words only seemed to anger Yra even more. She turned around to glare at the girl. "Just who do you think you are, trying to tell me what I should and shouldn't think?!" she yelled. Without waiting for an answer, she continued. "What you just said about me is completely wrong. I don't think that I have to ignore certain things, in fact, I don't ignore them at all. I'm not an elemental. I'd know if I was one. As for the fire, it's just a bad memory I'd like to ban from my mind. I'm not ignoring the fact that it happened, in fact I think about it every minute of every hour of every day. I'm not incomplete, as you say I am. I respect myself and other people respect me. I'm not, and I repeat, I'm not hiding anything from myself or others. I'm sorry, but I'm not going to change anything in my way of acting just because you said what I do is wrong, even if your advice might be right."

"Nope but there is one on the ground over there." Lisha said then went over to pick it up, she handed it to Chris then wispered "Try not to hurt her. I know this is hard for her. Do it gradually."

Yra backed away as soon as he put the fire under her chin, not even letting the flame touch her skin for a second. "What the heck are you doing!? You're nuts!" she said. "It's only common sense not to put a flame right under someone's chin!"

((is yra an elemental? I know it isn't your fault but your charecter is starting to be annoying. But that is ok. That is what I would do too. Me and Chris and who ever else just have to be smarter))
Lisha grabbed the lighter from Chris. "Give me this!" She pocketed the lighter. Then she slowly inched around Yra trying not to atract her attention. Then she slowly took the lighter out of her pocket and set Yra's shirt on fire while signling to the others not to say or do anything. Lisha could put the fire out.

((Gee...that's very nice. Thanks for calling my character annoying. --; I'm just accentuating her stubborn-ness(I know that's not a word but whatever). And she IS an elemental, she just doesn't want to admit it. I think her way of acting is somewhat normal. I mean, just think about it; if you just moved into a new house because the other one was destroyed in a fire, along with almost every material posession that has some sentimental value to you, and were being harassed by some people you don't even know, how would you react? I'm just trying to stick to her personality.))
Yra growled. These people are seriously starting to tick me off. she thought, trying to find something she could do to put out the fire. She remembered something that was taught to her long ago: stop, drop, and roll. Knowing she'd look like an idiot for doing so, she rolled on the ground, putting the fire out quickly. She got back up and glared at Lisha. Her eyes were still on the other girl when she said, "Leave me alone. All of you. Don't you dare approach me once again or I'll--" she stopped, biting a lip that was shaking nervously. What could she do? "I don't know what I'll do, but be certain it'll be bad." with that, she left, not even noticing that the fire hadn't left a scar on her skin.

((I'm sorry I sounded mean. I knew all of those things that you said (see I'm sounding braggy again. I don't mean to) but I couldn't put it into words. I'm glad your sticking to her personality it is hard for me to do No hard fealing please)) Lisha thought to herself I was going to put the fire out with wind. I don't know how to use my wind. I set a girl on fire and hurt her. I thought I was doing good. I am so stupid. This whole day has been absolutly terrible. How could I mess EVERY SINGLE THING up? Every choice I made was wrong. A tear rolled down her cheak. I can't walk away from this and I can't stay here. This is my chance to make everything right and yet the best thing to do is nothing. But how can nothing be right? Finally she desided "Leave her alone. I can't even remeber why we needed her in the first place. Maybe we should all go home. I'll go home too." Lisha set her face hard. The wind rose again.

((S'okay, no hard feelings.))
Somehow, Yra got back home without getting lost. She ran up the stairs and went into her room, making an effort not to slam the door shut and changing into a shirt that wasn't burnt up. She threw the other one into the garbage can and went to the window, gazing at the nearby houses, thinking.
What was this whole elemental episode about? Who were these people? They were quite strange, making her shirt catch on fire and sticking a flame under her chin. And what was Daniel doing with them?
She muttered curses under her breath. Daniel. He was still with them. She had to go get him, or her mom would kill her. There was one thing she didn't like about this. She'd have to go back to get Daniel, and that meant being near these...people again. She didn't like to admit it, but she was afraid. They had scared her out of her wits, especially the girl who had made her shirt catch on fire. She didn't want to go back.
Praying Daniel would come back on his own, Yra lay down on her bed and stared at the cieling, trying to think about things other than the fire and the strange people she had met earlier.

Xavier took the lighter and lit it casually, putting his hand to the flame thoughtfully. "Don't be worried about it," he said. "It's hard for her, I know that much. Our element isn't the easiest one to deal with. But when used properly, well... believe me, it's powerful. Or should be." He frowned at the memory of Mirra, and shook his head.
Storm smiled encouragingly at Lisha. "As for your powers, don't stress out about them," she said. "Wind, after all, is very similar to my own ability. Trust me, you should just be glad you can't control rain or lightning."
Noel nodded in agreement. "Yes. My sister is scary when she's mad."

Lisha stared after the girl and sighed. Then hearing Xavier's and Noel's words she felt better but still not great. "Actually I can controll the clouds becuase I can push them, but that doesn't nessissarily mean that it rains" She attemeted a smile.

Yra couldn't help but think about Daniel. She strained to hear the front door opening and closing again, and his cheerful 'I'm home!', but she didn't hear anything. Sooner or later she'd have to go back there. She growled. I don't want to go...Why can't that cursed kid just decide to come back home?! I don't wanna go, darnit. Come home, Daniel, come home...
Her thoughts soon switched to the group he was with, and again, the questions came up. Who were they? Why did that girl set her shirt on fire? And why did the man stick that flame under her chin?
Whatever they were trying to do, they're nuts. I'm not getting near them ever again. Ever. Yra clenched her teeth. Daniel better come home. That other part of her mind argued, But what if he doesn't? You should go get him, and now. With that, she left her room.
After a while, she got back to the place where everyone else was. She stayed quite a few meters away from the group, but was near enough so that Daniel would see her.
Her brother noticed her. "I thought you left." he said bitterly.
"I came back to get you." she said in the same tone as his. "You and I both know mom would kill me if I left you with strangers."
"They're not strangers. I trust them." he replied.
"After one of them set my shirt on--" suddenly, it hit her. The fire hadn't hurt her when her shirt caught on fire, or when it had touched her chin.
"Set your shirt on what?" asked Daniel, having no idea what she had just found out.
"Uh..." started Yra. She hadn't been listening to her brother's last phrase.
"What's wrong?" he asked, frowning.

Chris sighs as she leaves. "Being an elemental is fun... As long as you don't blow yourself up." Chris stays slilent as Yra walks back toward them. He smiles as realization his she. "Now do you see why we need you?"
((I like a challenge. It makes the RP more interesting.))

Yra frowned. "No, I don't. All I know is that fire of yours didn't hurt me." she said quickly.
"That's 'cause you're an elemental!" exclaimed Daniel.
"What?! I'm not, okay!?"
