[glow=brown,2,300](This is an RP about Dragon Hatchers...Or rather people who have hatched baby dragons and own baby dragons. You know the rules...No killing or stabbing other players, no godmodding, keep it kid friendly...You get the idea.)
Sockmonk sat at her desk, scribbling away on a piece of paper. The egg was shaking violently, but not hatching. The egg was completely white, like a huge chicken egg. After about a few minutes of wiggling, it hatched. And out came a small dragon, only a bit bigger then a full grown chameleon.
"Erm, hello." Sockmonk said.
She wasn't expecting for the egg to hatch into a dragon. She looked at the small, albino-looking dragon. What was she going to do with it? Her friends and family couldn't find out about it. She stared blankly at it's red eyes for awhile, and nothing came to her. She sighed.[/glow]

Eggz rolled over on her bed and sighed. She stared blankly at her egg. "This thing'll never hatch..." she thought. Suddenly, it started rocking slowly. Eggz got up and knelt down by it. She saw it glow slightly, humming a bit as it shook. The shaking went faster and faster, almost knocking itself over. Eggz gently held the egg in place. The shaking was so strong she began to shake with it. She began to grow tired, as she had been holding it there for a while. Suddenly...
"CRACK!"
Eggz felt something tap at the side of her hand. She quickly removed it and a small beak poked out. It hammered away at the egg and looked around. Then it saw Eggz. It chirped cheerfully.
Eggz gasped. Finally, a dragon of her own! Her mother didn't believe her when she said it was a dragon egg. She ran her hand over the ridges on the dragon's back. It purred slightly. Eggz scooped it up excitedly in her arms and reached for the door. But wait, she couldn't go out with it, her small apartment was covered in video cameras and someone would surely see it. But she couldn't leave the dragon alone either, her room was incredibly messy. She laid down on her bed...

"Agh!" She yelled.
There was really nothing she could do with it. There was no way she could hide it in her room, and she would never ever kill it.[/glow]

Rorie sat cross-legged on the carpet staring at her egg. Her cat, Cindy, watched curiously from her position ontop of the bookshelf. Rorie had been watching the egg whenever she had a spare moment, as though thinking hard about it would make it hatch. Cindy jumped down and Rorie flopped over onto her back, staring at the ceiling. "Stupid egg" she muttered, "It'll never hatch." Suddenly there was a loud CRACK and Cindy- who had been sniffing the egg- jumped backwards in suprise. Rorie sat up and watched transfixed as the egg slowly broke open. From the middle came a tiny red lizard with little wings on its back. Rorie's eyes widened. A dragon!! She had been expecting an oversized bird- at the most a lizard- to hatch from the egg. Not a dragon!! (there!! Sorry it took so long to write!  ) |

KNOCK, KNOCK KNOCK, KNOCK.
"Come on, open the stupid door already!" She mumbled.
She swung the door open, not having enough patience to wait for Eggz to open the door. She scurried into Eggz's room, and staring at her was another dragon.
"Oh god! How many of these things are there?!" Sockmonk grumbled.
She poked Eggz in the chest.
"Hey, wake up!" She said.[/glow]

Rorie started, not knowing what to do with the dragon. She had been excited when she had found the egg, but now she knew she had to keep the creature a secret from her family.
Grabbing her phone from beside her bed she quickly dialed her friend, Sock's, number. She waited impatiently for Sock to pick up, but the phone rang out. "Dangit!!" she gasped, slamming the phone back onto its stand, "She must be out or something!"
She looked around, wondering if Sock had a mobile. She needed to talk to someone!

"Yo, Rorie, meet me at Eggz's house now." She said.[/glow]

"Shhhh!" Eggz put her finger to her lips. "You'll wake up the dragon!" She crawled over her bed and looked at a small, rolled up sweater. Inside it, lay a small silver dragon, with grey ridges on it's back and wing buds, just about to grow. She would be able to fly soon, if her humongous horns twisted protruding out of her head were not so heavy. The small dragon observed Sock carefully, then burrowed back into the sweater, out of sight. Eggz smiled as she placed her chin in her hands, observing the small dragon's steady breathing.
Eggz sighed and left the room, silently closing the door behind her. "Isn't it so cute? I'm not sure if it's a girl or a boy, but I guess I'll find out soon." She whipped out a book and began to flip through it.

Suddenly Cindy noticed the creature. She bent low, then pounced! A horrible shrieking started, and Rorie covered her ears. Cindy leapt off the dragon in suprise and started yowling. The dragon jumped onto Rorie's bed, singeing her sheets as it did, and buried itself in her doona.
"What's going on?" Rorie's Mum yelled from the kitchen. Rorie looked around in shock. She couldn't have her Mum finding out.
"Nothing Mum," she called, "Just TV, really" she stuffed the tiny dragon into her backpack and raced out the door.

After running three blocks non-stop, Rorie arrived at Eggz' house. Pausing for breath she knocked at the door. "Eggz open up!" She groaned. The dragon was starting to claw through her backpack. She couldn't belive such a young animal could do so much damage!
"Come on Eggz, I've gotta talk to you!"

The dragon started to shriek and Rorie, judging this was a sign it was unhappy, took it out of her pack and started to stroke it, being careful to avoid its face. As it calmed down she realised how incredibly cute it was. Its scaled rippled with beautiful shades of orange and red, and it seemed that no two scales were the same colour. Its snout was slightly elongated, and from its nostrils tiny wisps of smoke rose. It looked like the dragon had not yet learned to breath fire.
The dragon looked up at her through its beautiful broze eyes, its pupils widening from slits, and Rorie knew she simply could not give it away. She had to keep it.

"Well, I heard that the males have shorter horns then females..." She said. "I don't know if you can tell when they're babies though."
She held her dragon close to her chest, as if someone were going to grab it at any moment.
"I've got one too as you can see," She said. "mine looks like it's albino. Like most species, albino dragons are rare."
The dragon hissed at the other one.
"Shhht," Sockmonk said. "we don't want to attract attention."
The dragon glided over to the bed, and didn't land gracefully at all. It landed on it's stomache, and flipped back over as soon as it hit the ground.
"It isn't very graceful yet." Sockmonk said, grinning.[/glow]

I walked in the field with nothing but a basket. It was humped a bit and it had a sheet covering whatever was inside. I went inside a building to go see my friends Eggz, Sock, and Rorie. I shuffled up the steps and knocked on Eggz's door. "Eggz!" I shouted while knocking on the door. I opened the door to see 2 hatched baby dragons. My eyes widened. "WHOA! How many baby..." Sock covered my mouth and pulled me inside...
