As I ran down the alley I came to a dead end. I looked around at my surroundings. "We are trapped!"

"Not good, not good." Hryre muttered. Ferox squeaked, and suddenly his eyes blazed.
"Hry, honestly you can't run from them. Let me take care of them, I've been hatched long enough to know what I'm doing." The little dragon thrashed his dark tail. "I feel my magical abilites beginning to awaken."
"No! Abosolutely not!" Hryre hissed, "they'll kill you!"

"Hrye. You should let Ferox do it," I said. I looked at Ivy. She too wanted to fight them off.

Hryre resisted for a moment longer, then let her arms relax. Ferox jumped to the ground as their persuers rounded the corner of the ally and bore down on them. Quite pleased to have discovered another dragon.
Ferox bared his teeth, the ridge on his back standing on end as his tail thrashed. "You will not pass me!" he shrieked.

"Well, the dragon can talk eh? Well the dragon and his friend won't be able to stop us..." The the men walked down the alley. I was hoping I made the right choice. Then a huge flash of light showed. I turned my head. Before I turned my head I noticed Ivy was the one who created the light. She was making the men listen to her. The men came closer but had dropped their weapons. Finally Ivy told them to stop. "Ferox, go on and take them. They only listen to me and no one else..." Ivy said. "You men must let Ferox defeat you. Or you can run..."

Ferox's eyes suddenly glowed with misty pale light. He reared back on his hind legs as everything around seemed to come to a complete stand still. There was no wind, no footsteps, no sound at all... until Ferox screamed. A stream of purple black fire sprayed outward from his mouth as an acidic froth dripped from his chin, sizzling where it hit the gound.

"WHAT WAS THAT!" I shouted. I started to get dizzy, and my head started to ache. I did my best to stay conscious but I knocked. I dropped to the ground and became completely unconscious.

[glow=brown,2,300]"SAM!" Sockmonk screamed, reaching for her friend's body. "She's still breathing, but barely."
WhiteFlame let out a yowl, and fell to the ground, breathing softly.
"WHITEFLAME!" Sockmonk screamed.
She looked at the others.
"We need to get to the hospital NOW!" She demanded, hurrying towards town.[/glow]

I was trapped. I couldn't wake up even when I tried my eyes wouldn't open. I was hoping the others were okay. Especially Ivy...

Ferox shook his head violently spraying his acidic froth everywhere. He then jumped up to Hryre's shoulder. Hryre dragged Sam up, gritting her teeth against the weight. "Sock, can you help me?"
