"Fine, if we can get off the island..." The Aes Sedai began to stir. The mustn't linger. Leun sped off into the night with hopes to reach a ferry of sorts. Braendar paused a moment, and turned to Softpaw. Thank you, Brother. I must leave with the Hunter now. Fair game and cool water be with you always, to the Last Hunt. He wasn't sure where that had come from. It had kind of just popped into his head. Softpaw gave a stiff nod. Fair game and cool water to the Last Hunt, Brother. We fly. And withing moments, not a trace of the wolves could be seen. Shaking himself, Braendar ran after Leun to the docks.

Leun stared up at the hull of a grubby, decrepit boat. The words The Silver Spray were scrawled upon the side in peeling paint. It seemed like it would get to the opposite bank, though not by much.
"Is anyone in there?" Leun shouted. No response. Either the captain was asleep up there or was simply elsewhere. They did not have the time to find him. "How well can you command a boat?" he asked, turning to Braendar.

Can't you just use your One-Power stuff to control it? Plus, you're the older and taller one here. Heck, I've never been on a boat!"

Leun flinched. Not the answer he had been hoping for. He had grown up in an inland city, and had only seen pictures of the oceans.
"How strong do you think I am? I can maybe push the boat about two inches, and rip seven holes in the hull as I do so. There's no way I can get to the other side."
Leun wished he had the Talent of Cloud Dancing. The Aes Sedai would be coming after them soon.

Braendar shook his head. "Ok, looks like we have to take it by land now. Great. Come on, let's get past the bridge while we can." Braendar shot off into the darkness, hoping Leun was behind him. Leun felt the taint of saidin corrode the inside of his stomach, felt it scour his veins with its filth. He created a flame small enough to not be seen by those afar, though grand enough to allow him to see straight ahead. It hover before his head, allowing him to see the youngling tearing his way through the island. How could Braendar go gallivanting through the night like that? It was almost as if he was one of those wolves. Leun sped after him, only barely able to see him in the distance.

((My deepest apologies. I thought I'd made at least one reply already, my homework has cuaght up to me and I was out sick just recently. Anyway, I'm back now, along with a complete map of the world in Hawking's time! Not on the web, in a book, but i'm sure I can find it. Anyway, I'll try to revive this RP. *gets those heart starter doohickies* Clear!))
Braendar sped along, straight through the gates. The guard was still mercifully unconscious. The wolves had apparently dealt with him as well.
He decided against calling back the wolves. True, getting out of the Tower's lands would take at least 2 days, assuming they found a ride, and they still had no idea of where to go. Not really, anyway.
Braendar didn't stop until the Shining Walls were a small headge in the distance. To get out of the Tower's sight would take another day. He waited for Leun to catch up - a little - and jumped into the forest when he was sure Leun would follow.
Lying down, he breathed heavily. Even with his skills, that had not been an easy run. He turned to Leun.
"Alright. I don't know about you, but if I could, I'd like to be as far away as Shiota right now. But since I can't, we'll have to think of a plan. But not right now," he added, groaning. "I'm going to sleep. The Tower won't find us yet. Plus, my wolf-friends are still on guard." He hoped. "I plan to find a boat tomorrow. Until then, good night."
Braendar rolled over and promptly fell asleep. Now was when he rested, when it didn't matter if he made sense or was rational. Now he slept, had dreams, and in the morning, jumped back into chaos.
He prayed it would be a long night.

Unfurling a map from his pocket, Leun examined their options by the hovering fire's light.
Tar Valon was an exceptionally large island, though with luck, they'd be able to escape tomorrow. Too far east would take them to desert waste, and too far west would lead them to no man's lands. Not the way to go.
There was very little south, unless they travelled extraordinary distances. It seemed to him that the best route would be the one heading to Hai Caemlyn. He thought he'd best tell that to Braendar in the monring.
Stemming the flows of Fire, Leun allowed the small fire to wink out. Tomorrow would come with great speed, he prayed, for the sooner they were off the island and away from the Aes Sedai, the sooner he'd be able to breathe with ease.

((Ok, I have taken the liberty of assigning the date and period of this RP, if you dont mind. The year is FY 939, that of the Black Fever epidemic (which, for this RP, just ended) and the rise of Guaire Amalasan, the False Dragon. (Which will happen) This period I think will make the RP the juciest and most-action filled. If you have any qualms, just tell me. )) Braendar tossed over, refusing to wake. But there it was, the sun shining in, and if he knew anything about Aes Sedai, it was he'd be in Caembarin before they stopped chasing him. Publicly, anyway. He looke at Leun. In the early morning light, it may as well have been noon, and Braendar noticed the rolled up parchment beside him. Leaning over, he unfurled it. A map, thank the light. The nearest and best routes would be to Hai Caemlyn, Cairhien (he did not care for its true name - all but the nobles called it that anyway), or Shandalle. Well, that really meant Cairhien or Caemlyn. He was never going back to Shandalle. (( That's where Artur Hawkwing/Paendrag rules - I'm not sure if you know this, if you do, tell me)) Personally, Moreina would be where he'd really like to be, in the Stone of Tear. Or maybe Darmovan, all the way to the Aryth Ocean. He placed the map back. Caemlyn would be best, because frm there they could take the Erinin to Moreina or the Manetherendrelle to 9 different countries. Except, of course, Shandalle.

Leun squinted in the sunlight. It had most certainly been a cold night, though it was due to fright that he lost most of his sleep. Each time he had been on the verge of slumbering, the notion of being gentled during the night caused his eyes to bulge open. Dark circles underlined them now, though that was not entirely due to exhaustion. He had not had a bite to eat since before being jailed in the White Tower.
He stared at the map for a moment. It suddenly appeared evident to him how large the island truly was, and how far Hai Caemlyn really was, too. They would never be able to escape.
"Now what?" he asked, turning to Braendar who had already risen. "Where are we supposed to go now? We can't run from Aes Sedai for the rest of our lives, but if it comes to that, it seems like we have to stay together. I was considering Caemlyn last night, though it's so far..." Leun could remember once seeing the tips of the towering structures of Caemlyn from afar, though he had never ventured inside. He had done much travelling - he was banished from his village when he was young as soon as his talent was discovered - though he always had avoided cities. "I suppose we could also consider Alcair'rahienallen in Almoren."

Personally, the farther from the White Tower I get, the better." He chuckled. "I'm almost considering joining the Whitecloaks. Almost."

((Oh, um... Almoren was one of the Ten Nations. Now it is Shandalle, Tova, Ileande, and Hamarea. Cairhien is in Tova, and to get there, you have to go throught Shandalle... I have GOT to find a map on the web to post...))

(Yeah, a map would help greatly ^^)
Leun shook his head. "There's no way we're laying low on Tar Valon. Half of the Aes Sedai in the White Tower will be looking for us in an hour, if they haven't been looking for us all bloody evening!" He paused to gain control of himself. He almost never made outburts like that. "No matter where we end up going, we won't be able to go anywhere unless we get off of Tar Valon. Now come on. You said last night you wanted to find a boat," Leun told him. "There's that one boat we found last night docked not too far from here. We could go back and see if the captain's there, or we can keep on going in hopes of finding a second."

I almost got it, but it was labeled as "copyrighted material" because it's inside a book, and I am starting to think this map is only in this book, which isn't good news... I'll attempt to explain the locations of the countries on another post.)) Braendar decided against pointing out he meant lying low in Cairhien until he could go as far away as he can. Aes Sedai weren't as stupid as he would have liked - first place they would check would be the coastal cities, for any idiot would get as far away as they could. Braendar squashed the thought saying that if those people were idiots than what was he? Braendar did, however, listen to his inner demons on one point. "You actually suggested going back IN to the city for that boat? If that man has a brain he'd be gone by now. Two people that the Tower says can channel incapacitating the Tower with saidin and wolves? If the man is still there I for one don't want to sail with him. No, we need to go downriver and either hope we find that guy downriver or find a port in... Shandalle." He tried to control the anger in his voice. Quite unreasonable, really. How many people would recognize an orphan of a minor house anyway? He shook his head to clear the indignancy at the word 'minor', because wasn't... he all but slapped himself. "Alright, let's go."

(( Countries (alphabetical):
Aldeshar- Approximately from Four Kings to the River Manetherendrelle, and from there north to where the Manetherendrelle first reaches into the Caralain grass, that tributary being the norther border, all the way to a little south of the River Storn (in Murandy)
Abayan - basically from Bandar Eban to where the River Dhagon Forks for the last time, north to the ocena. Dhagon is the southern border, the Aryth ocean its north. The eastern border is a line from the Dhagon's last fork straight up.
Balasun - Most of Tarabon. All the land south of the River Andahar (except for the small strip along the Mountains of Mist), down to the Shadow Coast
Basharande - Saldaea
Caembarin - one of the two lands directly south of Tar Valon, the other being Shandalle. Caembarin reaches from the River Erinin to Aldeshar, nort to the part of the Erinin below Dragonmount, and south to the bottom of Braem Wood.
Dal Calain - From the River Haevin to Aldeshar, in the Caralain Grass
Darmovan - Almoth Plain; the northern border is the River Akuum and the part of the Dhagon that reaches to Bandar Eban.

Hamarea - Shienar's south border to Kinslayer's dagger, northern and western borders the two tributaries of the Erinin that reach from Niamh Pass to the Dagger
Ileande - From Hamarea to the edge of Kinslayer's dagger north to Shienar's south border, south to the River Gaelin (Oddly, Ileande is the large country, because the geography of the rivers and such were slightly different and I can't be exact)
Indrahar - From Abayan to slightly west or the Arinelle to slightly north of Saldaea's south border to the north border of Arad Doman in the Mountains of Mist
Karendor - Ebou Dar to the Shadow Coast to Amadicia's south border

Oman Dashar - The area between the Dhagon and Akuum rivers, to the Mountains of Mist
Roemalle - From the tip of the Ivo to the tip of Kinslayer's dagger, north to the Erinin, south to a little below Tar Valon

Shiota - From Illian the city to Ebou Dar, and all of Altara

Best I can do for now - hope it helps!))
