Elcie nodded. "Probably a good idea. Though," she glanced at Fenrix, "you're probably not going to try and get at Cyborg through all of us, aren't you?"
She heard a distant rumble of thunder, reinforcing Rain's words. "Come on, we'd better hurry."
Blitz hissed at Shiloh. "You're in our territory now, kitty. You'd do well to remember that. I call the shots here."
Blizzard rolled her eyes as she pulled ahead of them, flicking her tail in her brother's face. "You'd do well to remember that we're not to attack unless Elcie gives the order," she muttered, though not terribly loud. She was tired of Blitz's arrogance, but other felines trespassing in their domain was even more troublesome.

Hades, upon hearing that they'd be taking a failed assassin back to their headquarters, shook his head. "Why is it that as soon as something happens, it stops happening?" he muttered, hoping that noone heard him. At least there would be a storm soon, and the heat would die down, hopefully for a while.

Fenrix frowned, thinking. "No. He's not worth killing you and your lot. I'll consider my contract over with my employer. Though he won't be happy about it. I better watch my back." She glared at the gathow that had attacked her.
Shiloh ignored that smear, but flicked the tip of his tail underneath Blitzkrieg's nose. "Don't worry, kitty. I'll play nice."

((The Vyt I'm using for the mercs will be the one before the Guild Wars, so he doesn't know people who just joined NTWF in April 2007 or later. I don't know if there are people here who joined in that date, though...

Unknown to the others, Vyt the Ninja had been around the headquarters all the time, waiting patiently for the right time to enter. Earlier, he was troubled as Elycien noticed something moving close to him. The half-feline didn't want to look like an assassin to the others so he had to back away from that spot slowly and hurried near the front door, still keeping himself hidden. If there were something he'd not put into misunderstanding it would be him considered as a threat to the mercenaries.
Seeing that there were no welcoming commitee to greet him, Vyt finally uncovered his face, showing a seemingly childish face with short black hair. He wouldn't mind having his identity revealed as long as he wouldn't be misunderstood as an assassin.

Seeing that the group was about to go inside, Arista shifted into a bird and flew off towards the building in the distance. She quietly landed on a window sill close to the door.

Fenrix smiled, playing the role of, quite literally, a bloodthirsty killer. "Scared?" She hummed to herself and reverted her attention to the Headquarters, it was maginficentally built, a fortress in a wasteland. She was amused by the thought of being invited in.

Rain frowned at Fenrix. "While I'm sure we'd all simply love to be, our current monetary state doesn't allow well for that." She stuffed her hands in her pockets. "Every time a mercenary is scared, it costs the whole guild half a day's salary. At least right NOW it does." A grin coursed the girl's face and she took out the keys to the main door, unlocking them and opening them for the others.

Hades had been content to stay quiet and out of the way, but when the assassin put her hand on her sword, he stepped forward, placing his left hand on her arm. "Please don't draw a weapon, or even threaten to do so," he said. "The consequences will be very painful for you."

Fenrix smiled slowly at Hades, deciding to show him her vampire fangs. "My apologies good sir. I was just checking to make sure I warded them, you can never be to careful about theivery." She was still ignoring Cyborg. He didn't need to know, besides, she had been discovered. The contract was off, she had no business with him.
