Hmmm... you know, if we are shuttling people there that means we can ding them TWICE. Once for transportation getting there, and another time for the actual flight. I like this business model.
And as wonderfully traditional as overpriced bad food is... some traditions just have to be broke for the greater good. Better food, lower prices imo.

We still need to pay for the food, or the ingredients, before serving it. Reasonably affordable? Yes. Better than the 'Fleet's cafeteria food? Bad idea.

Well yea, I know that, but if subway can afford to serve a delicious sub for 5$ we certainly can serve something half decent instead of something like a tasteless wrap for 12$.
It doesn't have to be gourmet, it just has to "has a flavour" as the lol cats would say. On that note, I propose we put cheesebuergers on the menu.

If I might change the topic slightly, I think it's high time we make a good map of Spacefleet itself. Everyone has a different conception of it. There was that thread I-have-no-clue-where-or-when that said what was on each level. Personally, I think we need to change it, since it seems like a single building would be way too small, given how it seems to expand constantly.

We could be expanding by building new buildings onto the moon's surface. Or under the moon's surface, if we're strange enough.
I think people would still want a big main building full of things like dorms and spaceports and labs, though. It'd be more convenient for RPs and such that way.

Rider: There is a "main" dojo for the guild, I suppose that's on a mountain (no clue as to name or relative location, does the NTWF have a map?). I think Draco mentioned that his is inside the mountain. My personal residence is by the foot of it, with a lake on the other side. I have my picture in my art thread for reference, but the mountain is "behind" the viewer, so you can't see it.

If anyone's interested, we could work on it. Though at the very least we probably should start on what's where. For those interested, here's the old map thread.

For those interested, here's the old map thread.I know my idea of Spacefleet probably isn't anything like anyone else's, but I've always imagined it as designed radially. In the center you have the main civilian area--the place with all the shops, cafeteria, and so forth, open to anyone. I imagine the civilian section with a high domed roof and a few windows opening to the sky. Branching out from there are different sections for different purposes--crew quarters, science section, training and holodecks, medical bay, and so forth. Probably with a high-speed shuttle running all the way around. The old Spacefleet map apparently had it designed as a single building, but with all the stuff that goes on here, I think it's way too big for just one building.
