((It basically previews the clone, gives you tips on where and how to apply the DNA.))
'Sure.' Zari opened Tantrum and clicked a few Icons. A blank grey screen anda toolbar came up. 'By "Base DNA." it means what the animal is mostly like. The base for the clones is the Serval DNA. You can't get a splice to work without a base. The rest is layered around it.'

"Got it." He took tantrum and started using the program. He began by setting the base DNA to 'Siberian Husky', then started tweaking the other areas. A short time later he, stopped, then nodded, feeling satisfied with the preview. A picture of a dog was shown on the screen, mostly black on the top, white on the bottom, with an area of black and white vertical stripes between the two. Three different kinds of animals were listed besides the husky:
((I'm listing these as most prominent to least prominent))
Siberian Tiger Lion Shark

Zari nodded. 'Try pressing the 'Life cycle' button over there. That'll show it from birth to elderly, and give it's life expectancy. The clones live roughly 60 years., with a 5-year childhood, and a 10 year elder state. Then use the green thing over there and it'll give you the quantity and order of DNA you put in. AS a general rule, the Base goes last.'

Ethan hit the button, the computer displayed the dog in several stages, from a puppy (cub?) to a large adult, and then the elderly stage. It also gave the life expectency and the length of the various stages.
"Satisfactory..." He then used "the green thing" and the amounts for the dog were shown, as well as the order they were to be put in:
Lion 8% Siberian Tiger 21% Shark 3% Siberian Husky 68%
((or did you mean as in cups and tablespoons?))

((With a dog-based clone, it'd be puppy.))
'Hmmm...for a clone that large... Four cups of husky, One and a half of Tiger, two tablespoons of Lion, a teaspoon of shark. Shark DNA is good for cold resistance and reactions. Senali, who has more shark than the other clones, has very good reaction time. If I flick the lights off randomly, It takes only a second before she leaps for the switch. She can swim well too.

"That's a big puppy... especially since I thought they grew while in the tank. Though that would be about the right size if it didn't grow, not much anyway.
"Should we get started? ...There are plenty of samples collected due to shedding season, right?"

Amneiger put on his glasses and began going through the manual at about half a second per page. Iskale climbed onto his head and began trying to rustle the pages. Amneiger ignored him.

'Yeah...Big puppy. Find the components. Stir before you add the base, the tip it in a tube. A green tube, Over there.' Zari said automatically, beginning to chew astrand of her own hair.

Ethan started looking through the boxes that fell on top of Zari earlier. "Husky... husky... husky... There's the shark... husky... husky... Husky. Tiger... tiger..." He thought aloud.
Once he found all the samples and measuring equipment, he set them on a table. He paused, turned, and asked "Do you have anything a can use to help keep unwanted DNA from getting into this, like gloves, a shower cap, and a surgeon's mask?"

'Gloves. There's some rubber one's over there.' Zari leaned over and picked up a box. 'Tiger.'

Ethan put on a pair of gloves and started to add the ingrediants, though still handling them carefully as if afraid to breathe on it. He scooped out a teaspoonful of the grey jelly that was shark DNA. "Looks good enough to eat," he joked, before adding it to the mixture and stirring. Deciding that a liquid would be easier to measure than hair (as the hair may or may not need to be packed) he measured out four cups and slowly poured them into what looked like, and probably was, a mixing bowl for things like cake.
He set the measuring instruments down, then carefully lifted up the mixture and put it into the green tube, being extra careful not to spill.
He set down the mixing bowl once it was emptied. and crossed his fingers, hoping that it would work.

Zari laughed, then pointed at the green tube, where the ingredients had begun to blob together. 'Look.'

Ethan watched as the DNA mixture stopped swirling like a liquid, and started to form itself into what resembled a bubble with hairs and jelly in it. He figured that there must be something in the tank that made it do that. There was still no telling what would happen at this point, so he kept his fingers crossed and thought the words 'please be alright' seven times.

The blob slowly began to become solid, feet and a head forming, and a tail. 'Seems to be going well. Don't worry, if it hadn't been a good mixture the progam would have said so. It's a very bossy program.'

"Oh, good." He sighed, relieved to know that it had been a good combination, meaning a high chance of a successful clone. The clone was now starting to grow distinguishable features. "So how do know for sure that it's finished?"
