Excellent. Just let me get some snake venom, a cucumber, and two loaves of bread, preferably from a penguin. Then we can make a comeback.
MWAHAHA. MWAHAHAHA. MWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAA- *coughing fit*!

Sounds like luncheon at my house.
What's the recipe? Maybe I know it.

Two-minute comebacks. Also known as the instant sparkly kaboom.

Two-minute comebacks sound better. But a question: does the comeback last two minutes, or does it only take two minutes to comeback?
And, y'know, I was in Wal*Mart the other day and saw A Knight's Tale on the clearance rack. So I bought it. I haven't actually had time to watch it yet, but I guarantee you, I will one day. And hopefully soon. Maybe it'll be my reward for finishing my 350 reviews. We'll see.
And I think we need to start an initiative to get this guild to come back together again. I'm thinking a system of ranks--one separate from the the RP, unlike the council positions--is in order. I've got a draft of some possible ranks we could use, but I've got to glance at some notes I wrote up a while ago to finish putting it together. But of course, even if we do decide to initiate a rank system, and even if we do use the ones I'm suggesting, I'd not be able to be the only one responsible for maintaining the ranks, or else this democratic monarchy might crumble to the ground.
>.>
I mean, it might crumble to the ground more so than it already has.

Wolf, I assure it isn't crumbling. It's just shrinking and shedding off clumps of dust as it does. Yeah. I'll just convince myself of that one kthx.
The comeback takes two minutes. Sadly, I have only suceeded in acquiring the cucumber. I need the snake venom and the loaves of bread from the shady penguin.
What? Only shady penguins make explosive bread!

*ready for a comeback* Hey, Zari, let's go threaten the shady penguin with flamethrowers, yesyes? :3
I'll help maintain the rank system if you'd like, Wolf. I'm dying for this guild to become active again.
Our monarchy's not crumbling to the ground, our castle is xD We seem to be a popular target in the Guild Wars.

Well. The roleplay's rather well crumbled, too. And a ranking system would be cool, yes.

At least there was some good plot and character development before the vile GW and the thrice-accursed real life sucked away the soul of the RP with their meddling in our affairs the roleplay crumbled.

The comeback takes two minutes. Sadly, I have only suceeded in acquiring the cucumber. I need the snake venom and the loaves of bread from the shady penguin. Very intriguing. I was born in the year of the Snake, and I've got a sharp tongue, so if some of my...erm, spittle, could be used in place of the snake venom, I can certainly get you some. Of course, it's not very kingly to spit, so we'd have to meet in private. As for the rank system, I'm not sure how involved it should be...but here's an idea for some possible ranks: Every member begins as a Peasant. From Peasant, one can become either a Page or a Serf.
From Page, one should become a Squire or Apprentice. From Squire, one should become a Knight or Cavalier. From Knight to Paladin, and from Cavalier to Champion. From Apprentice, one should become a Spellcaster or Scholar. From Spellcaster to Wizard, and from Scholar to Professor.
From Serf, one should become a Freeman or a Noble. From Freeman, one should become a Merchant or Poet. From Merchant to Master, and from Poet to Bard/Minstrel. From Noble, one should become a Lord or a Baron. From Lord to Overlord, and from Baron to Duke.
Variants: Lord or Lady, Baron or Baroness, and Duke or Ductchess.
They're all related to positions arising from feudalism, manorialism, and peerage, so they all definitely fit the medieval theme, and even though this isn't the Mages' Guild, I've included magic users because many of the Knights here also use magic. :) Of course, to have so many ranks, we'd have to have so many ways of rising in ranks...and even if we all did something, I still don't know if there'd be enough of us for all of that. -_- Of course, I've also heard that Spacefleet has a good system of ranks, and I've received express permission from Strife that we can model some of our new features after the ones he's set up, so...if Zari, Shade, and Bacon would offer their input, then I'm sure we could draw from my suggestions/come up with entirely new ranks that would suite us all perfectly. :) Our monarchy's not crumbling to the ground, our castle is xD We seem to be a popular target in the Guild Wars. Don't worry. I've got plans for the after Guild Wars Guild Wars Roleplay.

I'd either simplify it or leave it just the way it is, as it is quite a remarkable and well thought-out layout.

It'd be better to ask Zari or Bacon for info on how Spacefleet's ranking system works, but as far as I can tell/remember, you go up in rank for being an active participant in the guild. Strife just posts when he moves someone up a rank, and that's it. You choose which class you want to be in when you join, and I think you just stay in it, though there might be an option to change class. And at the 'fleet, the ranking system isn't as complex as yours is. xD ..four classes of three ranks each. Ranks might have multiple titles to choose from, but nothing like yours. And I typed your ranking system up in way that's slightly easier to understand, to me, at least. Peasant Serf || Page
Peasant --> Serf --> <-- Freeman / Noble --> Merchant / Poet || Lord / Baron Master || Bard || Overlord || Duke
Peasant --> Page --> <-- Squire / Apprentice --> Knight / Cavalier || Spellcaster / Scholar Paladin || Champion || Wizard || Professor
Variants: Lord or Lady, Baron or Baroness, and Duke or Ductchess. Bard/Minstrel was taken out because it looks nicer this way, but that's still an option.

Just promote us when you want to promote us. I assume when there's more than one option, you'll give us the choice? 'Cuz if I had a choice, I'd much rather become Paladin than Bard. And Shade, I think you got exactly how SF's ranking system works.

That's a pretty good diagram, Shade. *applauds*
But where do the King and Council fit into there? *muses*
Couldn't help pointing that out...by way of explanation, I've spent the last two days at Dray's place, watching her wrangle cows, St. Bernards, her little sister, and hearing her backtalk, interrupt, and point out holes in the logic. She's rubbing off on me, possibly.
