Okay, so here's how this is going to work.
Basically, this'll be like a Tabloid duel, except that godmoding should be kept in check. Depending on how quickly this goes, the duel might last for five pages, or it might last for two, or anywhere inbetween, depending on how long it survives.
The point is to get a feel for how to duel opponents, so if you ever come across one of them sneaky ninja, you can pwn it. j;) There aren't really any winners- it's all for fun.
People besides the combatants can post and wave signs or something, but don't take up too much space, because the duel is limited in length.
Now that I've got that out of the way, it's time for our two opponents to come out and fight each other! Let's welcome to the training deck Huntress and Dragon! Let the sparring commence! j;D

The door has a password slot but it is of no use any more as the door is hanging half-open. The expedition enters to find a silent bay with a rotten ship by the shore. Further investigation shows that the ship is empty, only two human skeletons were to be found on one of the decks, one of the two still having some stripey hair attached to the skull, the other, oddly enough, having an extended spine to form a fully funcional tail...Don't bother asking, I don't know what I'm on either x__X But I'd probably suggest the "remind" variant.

Well, it's still a forum, not a messenger convo. So it's bound to take some time.
*draws dagger* No crossbow or meepits, I s'pose? Then I only have this dagger. But it's long. And sharp >>

I suppose I'll have to use only me pirate skills for this.. hmm. I guess I'll use my cutlass then. That means... no magic except a tiny bit of elemental stuff like Ikkin said... like if you're trying to drown me.
*takes out cutlass* Come and get me.
... I just realized how weird that would sound on the 'bloids.

*draws dagger* Dagger versus cutlass is gonna be tricky. But hey, I still have the arrows =3
...okay, okay, no acid. Just sharp pointy arrows. Giving you a heads-up in case I get in a sticky situation and the dagger fails on me. Be glad it´s just training >>
*charges and stabs*
(Yeah, we gotta drop the bloidal thinking for this one, or it`ll be a very, very, very bad fight...)

I think I'm going to do this in sort of a story like version sort of thing... "Acid arrows? Hmm." I said, pondering what could be an easy escape out of a sticky situation like that. I ntoiced that she was charging at me. Quickly I sidestepped her attack, though due to lack of attention, she managed to cute me on my arm... my left arm thankfully. I made a grab for her belt, hoping to dislodge it. I also made a swing at her with my cutlass, though I do admit it was a bit wild and with horrible aim. ... And that's how I'll be doing my sort of thing on here. Yeah, definitely. What happened in the Bloids, stays in the Bloids... hopefully.

On a side note, I broke my arm when I was 10 or so. Can't remember which arm, but it makes no big difference, doing things with one hand only is tricky as it is. Then again, I'm partly bothhanded... in other words, fighting with right arm only can also be really hard.
And I do suppose that good olde roleplay style would work out best here...
... Huntress sunk to the ground to avoid the attack, but not quickly enough. Waves of cold and heat dashed through her left shoulder as the cutlass slid through it. It didn't go deep, but it was long.
"Smooth," remarked Bob, jumping out of her pouch as he figured that it'd get sticky in there. "Losing your shape, eh? High time you started training again."
"Zip it and keep an eye on these," hissed the pirate, wriggling out of the belts that held the crossbow and quiver. And she charged again. This time on low level, going right for the opponent's knees.

Dragon quickly turned around with barely enough time to sidestep the attack. Unfortunately her knee was hit by fist wrapped around the dagger. The blow sent her spinning, hitting the mast. The air was knocked out of her.
Without a second to lose she jumped a few levels of the mast and dove for Hunty using blunt force instead of her cutlass.

((Ooh, I pwn at hitting people that much? =3 And you probably meant yards. They're pretty far away from each other to jump on but the harder the attack, I s'pose. From bottom to top: lower yard, lower topsail yard, upper topsail yard, lower topgallant yard, upper topgallant yard, royal yard and skysail yard. Stop staring at me, my dad's a sailor and so have been many of my family members for centuries >> I take pride in knowing these things.))
"Mass plus speed plus inertia," hissed Boom, knowing a thing or two about physics. "This could kill them both."
"Pirates are tougher than cockroaches," remarked Justice, eying Dragon with vague concern. "Though... ohboy... Hunty, duck!"
"Only for dinner," grunted Huntress and took the full blow. For a few seconds she withstood the weight of the attack with her crossed arms, then flew across the deck. She got up with a scowl.
"Ouch," she said. "Okay then." And rolled her hands into fists. And went straight for Dragon's face.

(*cough* Erm yeah. That's what I meant. <_< >_>... GO PIRATES! =D)
"It'd be a disgrace to hide in the convenient shadows right over there..." Dragon noticed Hunty coming for her, with a not-so-happy face on. "Oh crap."
Dragon knocked off the first punch with her arm. She kept blocking as Huntress kept coming. Her arms were starting to hurt, no doubt bruises as large as apples would be appearing the next day.
"Okay.. best defense is a good offense... soo here goes nothing," Dragon muttered. She let the next punch hit, but not her face, her shoulder since she jumped. She liked aerial attacks the best. The punch in her shoulder sent her spinning again. Only this time, Dragon's leg was sticking out, looking to make contact with Hunty's stomach.
