She missed. Well, almost. Huntress was in constant movement, expecting to hit the target was plain crazy to start with, but Dragon's foot still landed hard in Hunty's ribs. As the opponent flew in the opposite direction, Huntress was thrown onto the deck again. She was breathing hard when she got up, her hands supporting most of her body weight. Still, no matter. She had seen worse. She got up, coughing a few times, and touched her ribs. Not broken. Nice.
"Blooood," hummed Santa, as the other meepits picked the scent up as well, getting restless. Huntress looked down and noticed small bloodstains on the deck where she had rested her hands on. Waitaminute, how can... She looked at her hands. Darn. Of course.
"See, that's what you get when you grow your nails too long," stated Bloody Mary. "And when you file them sharp."
"For a reason," muttered Huntress, a grin spreading over her face. It would look too much like a corny catfight, true. But it'd be a lot more effective. Hrm, wonder if this would work?
She looked around to find her dagger. It was there, on the deck. Useful, yet not attached to her body and at hand whenever necessary... unlike nails. Would be smart to try fighting with those instead.
She straightened her back and looked up to find her opponent, stretching her fingers. Her palms hurt. But it was easily bearable.

Dragon need a better plan then a hit or miss attack. She saw Hunty going for her dagger.
"Hmm.." Dragon pulled out her bow and arrows. "I know it's not traditionally pirate, but I'm an elf, nonetheless." She murmurmed.
Now usually, Dragon had dead aim. But of course, she wasn't going to kill Hunty. Not to mention that Dragon's had took a beating when she fell on them. It didn't make matters better to see Hunty charging at her.
"Here goes something..." Dragon mumbled and let the arrow fly.

Huntress, three seconds away from scratching her opponent's eyes out - okay, okay, just doing some external damage... intentionally... and hopefully... was suddenly pulled back and slammed against the deck. She was really starting to hate that deck now.
The pirate tried to get up, ripping her shirt sleeve that had been nailed into the boards with the arrow. She let out a few words that made the meepits blink and stood up. Then she pulled the arrow out, shot a glance at it, then shot a glance at Dragon and then, with a quick snap of the wrist, threw it back.
Shot arrows, when hit, kill easily. Thrown arrows don't have enough speed and strength for that. But they can still be pretty nasty.

Dragon smirked. Oh how she loved pinning people down. And the total opposite when she pinned down. She knew that Hunty's arrow would never hit her. But that didn't stopt the arrow from making her hand bleed when she caught it, right about to hit her face.
She muttered some words, that aren't allowed on a place like this. Quickly, she ripped off a piece of her shirt, wrapping it around her hand and tieing (sp?) it. She could see Hunty still getting up from the deck. But.. what to hit her with.
"Ah, yes, of course," Dragon mumbled, taking a barrel of rum that was convieniantly right next to her. Now, just to wait for the perfect moment to roll it.. there. Dragon pushed the barrel towards Hunty. Steering too much to the left, but the ship swayed to the right, setting the barrel on course.

((So much of traditional combat training x3 But a lot of that impulsive Jackie-Chan-style combat with random objects. Me likes =3))
"Captain is not going to like this," muttered Huntress, shoving her hands deep in her pockets. Balance was crucial here. And she kicked the barrel straight in the middle as it rolled close enough, sending it flying back low above the deck.
The meepits dived behind a crate at once.

Dragon's eyes became wide. Timing would be crucial, along with the exact strength she used. The barrel closed in on her. It was the only way the barrel would have minimal damage on the ship.
The Cap'n was definitely NOT going to be happy. Dragon jumped and with a spinning kick, flung the barrel a little higher. And then the barrel exploded. Rum splashed over the place, hitting mainly Dragon intoxicated witht he fumes.
With vanity in mind, Dragon plunged into the ocean, swimming under the ship, coming out the other side. With a tad bit of water magic, she flung herself on deck, checking the damage.

Huntress grimaced, straightening her back when she found that the rain of rum had ceased. Her hair was dripping and the scratches and bruises she had got during the fight were now very, very sore due to the alcohol. Eh, at least that should clean the wounds. But the deck was now dangerously slippery.
She dashed left and climbed up the rigging. She'd had enough of the deck for a while now anyway, so she landed on the foremast yard, fastening her crossbow on her back again. There weren't many things to fight with up in the masts and ropes so better safe than sorry. Hunty crouched down, eyeing her opponent.
