I was about to go beserk on you both... then I see that you say "Mulan 2." I never saw that. Disney animated sequals are doomed. All of them. It gets worse and worse as time goes on. Please note that I say "animated." I don't mean Pixar/Disney, and I'm reserving judgement on live ones until I see PotC2... Yeah, they usually mess up the cartoons, as they try to be as kid-friendly as possible... usually overreacting. To sum Mulan 2 up very short... Mulan and general Shang are engaged (predictably enough), the emperor summons them and asks them to escort his three daughters to another kingdom for an arranged marriage. The three soldiers from the first movie are hired to be the guards for the three princesses (and I don't have to tell you how this ends up, ne? >__> Shtoopid Disney.) Mushu tags along and gives his best to break Mulan and Shang up as their marriage is threatening his guardianship pedestal. The whole story. Ohkay, I liked the movie. But only as pure entertainment. It wasn't half as deep as the first Mulan. And the songs weren't half as good. *digs up Christina Aguilera's "Reflection" from her compy*

[glow=red,2,300]It's also a ship, oftentimes deadly, especially with a honkin' lot of cannons. [/glow]

[/shadow] We should fill the cannons with japanese man o' wars. They'll never see it comming. Have to wear gloves when handling them though, even when dead their stings pack a wallop.

And we can load them with electric eels too... ... We could get sued by Greenpeace for this. XD Or the local marine biologists/nerds/junkies.[/shadow]

You know, I heard that the Portuguese Man-o-War aren't actually technically jellyfish. Jellyfish are one animal, while a Man-o-War is a colony of smaller animals. :3

You know, I heard that the Portuguese Man-o-War aren't actually technically jellyfish. Jellyfish are one animal, while a Man-o-War is a colony of smaller animals. :3 They're still under the same phylum, cnidarians. They are the medusae stage of a weird lifecycle. They aren't TRUE jelly fish. but they are still essentially the same thing, just colonial. They are part of class hyrdazoan, true jelly fish are classified as scyphozoa. The diffrence is mostly how long they stay in that impaticualr stage of their life cycle. Sea sea anemoneas are also part of phylum cnidaria, they have no medusae stage. They only have the polyp stage and possibly the larval too. The largest jellyfish in the lions mane. It grows to 2m in diameter with tentacles up to 30m long. The largest jelly on record is 3.6m in diameter. That's almost twice as wide as I am tall! *puts on deep Bill Nye the Science Guy voice* NOW YOU KNOW! (I'm so going to do well on the cnidarian part of my invertebrates unit test!)

*kinda blinks*
Keng, you used five words I've never heard in my life. Then again, my biology class wasn't in English. And even if it had been in English, it wouldn't have helped much. I spent most biology, geography and, in last year's case, history classes drawing. Result: almost nonexistant biological knowledge. And a helluva lot better artistic skills than they would be without those classes x3 Wahaha.

It's to avoid confusion when scientists from diffrent countries/languages get togeather. Anyway.. that's deffinately enough Biology talk for one thread board forum. XD ------ Gaaaaaaaaaah, it's Marine Biology class all over again!! *whimpers pathetically and curls up in a corner* Noooo, I don't wanna learn 20 species of whales..... nuuuuu..... It's ok, I've stopped now and I won't do it again Hmm... I think I may of just found a new weapon against the ninjas though. Next time we meet, I spew biological terms at them

I'm amused at PotC's fishmen. Why in the world is Davy Jones a squidface? I mean, they're cool looking and all... but fishmen? First time I saw the trailer, I was all like "OMG it's like One Piece!" But whatever floats their boat, I guess. ..... Plus their boat IS rather cool, it's like a big hunk of floaty coral. Heh.
... .... Maybe they'll have a Man-o-War man! XDDDD

but-but... Everyone uses the same terms for classification. It's to avoid confusion when scientists from diffrent countries/languages get togeather. Most likely, but these are international classifications which we didn't deal with. Infact, we didn't deal with anything x3 The teacher talked about something biological and we all minded our own business. Only year 12 got a stricter teacher but she didn't talk about narrower classifications either. 'Sides, the classroom was big and cheating during tests was easy ^^; *wants to see PotC 2* x____X
