Rawr. My only spoiler for Treasure Planet is that it's BAD. And the 3D effects are so painful, almost as much as Titan A.E. X___x *sigh* And Jim was such a painfully angsty teenager, complete with badass skateboarding skills. Sorry, I just can't connect with a character that is such a cardboard-cutout of the 'cool' generation. ... ... But I think that's the only pirate thing that I've ever disliked. One Piece rawks! .. There's another movie I loved. I thought it had a fun story, and they named a planet bob! How can a movie with a planet named Bob possibly be bad? And I really liked those flying people. The story wasn't that bad, but the CG effects were awful, and the blue baddies were so bright and 3D that they felt like they belonged in a totally different movie. |

Whadda ya expect from Disney? X__x; They always manage to mess their cartoons up. Mulan 2 had so much potential, the storyline was really good... and still they turned it into some predictable little lovestory with a huge touch of feminism. Ick. I did enjoy the songs though. Guess that's why One Piece is so great... no huge clichés and sappy lovestories (unless you count Sanji but what would the show be without him? :3) Keng... haven't seen anything you mentioned ^^; Guess because I live on the other side of the planet. We only have three local channels and they don't buy nearly as much good stuff as they should. That recent PotC was a complete miracle... Just to get this outta my system... Finland won the Eurovision song contest ^___^ When a song titled "Hard Rock Hallelujah" wins Europe's biggest happy-happy gay-pink pop parade, the hell must be frozen over. And the better for it. Guess that's why One Piece is so great... no huge clichés and sappy lovestories. No, One Piece is great because of one reason: Reindeer pirate! Squeee! And clown pirates, and fish pirates, and cat pirates... In fact, the series is so great because none of the pirates are typical pirates. And because it's so silly. *nods* One Piece would probably have to be one of my fave anime series. ... I think it's a tie between that and Hellsing. Clown pirates vs vampire nazis? Don't make me choose! XDDDD |

No, One Piece is great because of one reason: Reindeer pirate! Squeee! And clown pirates, and fish pirates, and cat pirates... In fact, the series is so great because none of the pirates are typical pirates. And because it's so silly. Cat pirates? *complete blank for a few minutes* Ah, the Black Captain along with his Michael Jackson sidekick x3 It's been a while since I saw the very first episodes. I get the show from a German channel and those guys seem to translate it one season at a time. Looks like they didn't get the next season done in time so for the last half a year they just aired the Sky Island saga again and again and again x__X And it's not that silly. If I had to analyse it like a book, I'd find loads of serious stuff to think about. Squeeeee. I don't follow the animated series, just the manga, so I'm way far behind in the storyline. I can't afford that many dvds. One Piece, hm? Sanji has a fakey Jersey accent, and everyone else sounds especially obnoxious. They got rid of all the guns and rum, and changed all the Marines to Navy, for whatever reason. And then they try to oversappify the morals, to make it kid-friendly. Ugh. Just get the manga.  |

Not to mention taking away all the cigars/cigarettes. Sanji got a lollipop x.X Thank god for the reasonable Germans who didn't edit anything and don't care about any copyright problems so Zorro is still Zorro. (Hey, "zorro" is "fox" in Spanish. How can anyone copyright that?) And they changed the Marines? o.o What, erased all the writings on the sails of the Marine ships n stuff? Whoa, so much trouble just to mess one poor anime up.
Django, eh? The German version knows him as Jacko x3

I was about to go beserk on you both... then I see that you say "Mulan 2." I never saw that. Disney animated sequals are doomed. All of them. It gets worse and worse as time goes on. Please note that I say "animated." I don't mean Pixar/Disney, and I'm reserving judgement on live ones until I see PotC2... |

*is currently downloading Treasure Planet* *whacks it* I hate this thing. Slow. Too slow. I have the Russian version though. Very poor voice acting x.X But I more or less watched it. And loved it. Or maybe it's just me automatically drooling over everything that has to do with space *points to DBZ* and pirates *points to One Piece* *glances at old Star Trek episodes* Ohkay, so maybe not everything... >.> But- but- but - but, THE TRIBBLES! XD Have you heard/seen the William Shatner version of 'I am Canadian'? "I am not a starfleet commander, or TJ Hooker. I do not live on starship 140 dash CC7 .. *trails off* *audience: "1!"* ((I probably got the numbers wrong)) . And when I speak I never pronouce every. Word. Like. It's. Its. Own. SENtance!
