"I'll be stormin' the ship. Don't underestimate me in combat," Rider said. "Is everyone ready?"

Zylaa gave a worried sigh and bit her lip. She dug around in one grubby pocket for a while and pulled out a large silver coin in some foreign denomination. She flicked it in the air. The sun glinted off the minted surface, and before the money hit her palm there was a rustling in the bushes. "Shiiiiiinyyyyy...." hundreds of tiny voices chorused. The weasel-girl couldn't help a quick smirk. "Ready. Hang on... let me fill them in..." she knelt down to explain the plan to the army of weasels, all listening intently. Or at least, they stared intently at the shine off her glasses.

"Aye aye, cap'n," Ikkin said with a grin and a fake pirate accent. "And anyone who be underestimatin' me 'll find 'emselves fish food. I'll join yeh in the boardin' party. And if 'n yeh want a storm, well, I'll make it a storm to remember!"

"Yeesh, ye all are a strange lot. I wish ye luck with th' raid. I'm not the fightin' sort, so I'll be sittin' this one out." Komori brushed at her hair distractedly. "I'll try and salvage some o' me tools from me workshop, and I'll wait for ye at the docks."
With that, the korbat took off back into town.

"Ah, Huntress, I ain't gonna blast the ship we be stealing," said Kat with a yawn. "That's just dang crazy. Well, if ye don't want me t'cast some huge storm over the ship, I can sashay int'the ship and use all me witty girly charm t'lure them guys out." She paused. On second thought...maybe that's not such a good idea.
"And Ikkin, I can jazz up that storm o'yers. A purple storm ain't one t'be missed." The wench nearly dropped her accent, but quickly got it back together again. Only Thunderbolt knew that she didn't speak pirate talk at all.

"Heh, my storm could use some jazzin' up," Ikkin said. "All I have is wind... though, on the ocean, that's usually enoug' ta get 'em worried. If'n they're a worried about their ship, they might be payin' less attention ta us as we take it." She grinned, and let the wind whip around her.

Huntress smiled, looking around. "I ain't a mage and am better in ranged combat," she turned a little to show a crossbow that was tied to her back along with a small backpack and a steel quiver, "but I can get ye some inside info." She dug into a black leather pouch on her belt and pulled out a small, dark blue and very grim meepit. "Mateys, meet Bob Squeaky."
"Hi," the meepit grumbled. "Name's Bob the Destroyer. The Squeaky part is her stupid idea. And no need to stare at me. Meepits don't talk. I just have rabies, that has a weird effect on us. Don't think I asked for the ability myself."
"Uhuh, ye just poked a wild Lupe a tad too much," Huntress agreed. "Ye know what I want from ye now. Go back to the ship and call the others. Find out where th' guards are and how many thar are. Once these lads here show up, help 'em, ya hear me? Let 'em know what to expect." Bob "Squeaky" Destroyer nodded, hopped down and galloped out of the inn.

While keng had mentioned something about werewolves transforming, she'd failed to mention she was herself one. Meh, just a small overlooked detail that they would discover soon enough. "To you who be sayin not ta underestimate ya in battle, just be sure not to underestimate the crew who you'll be fighting. No one's invicible ya know." she was a logical girl this one it was begginning to seem.

"I'd be okay-ish at fightin'. I'd be good with a cutlass, but me aim with a pistol is quite bad." she said, biting her lip and shrugging, scraping more hair behind her left ear, "And, yup, I'm ready. Gimme the signal to grab some grub."
She adjusted her chunky belt, and nosed into her real carrier, which was her worn looking leather pouch, and grumbled. "Only a few reals left.."

"Aye," said Kat approvingly to Ikkin. "But perhaps I can shake 'em up a bit more with a barrage o'purple lightning. If it mixes with yer winds, it should give 'em a good fright." She glanced around at the other pirates. "And don't worry, I'll make sure we don't get hit, I'm sure o'that."
The wench sighed inwardly. Keeping up her accent was going to be harder than she thought.

"Yarr, then we move up as soon as the rodent gets back!"
A pink Meepit head popped out of Rider's pocket and sniffed at Huntress cautiously.
"This be Ventratta, by the way. He's a true-blue mate o' mine. Doesn't talk, like yer fancy Meepits, but always gets his point across anyway."

"Bliz, no," snapped Elcie under her breath, but it was too late. The girl cringed. Feepits, Meepits, Miamice - all were fair game to Blizzard. The Gathow crouched down low, stalked a few steps, then pounced at Ventratta. "No!" she snapped, rather louder. "How d'ye think I'm going t'get hired if ye attack their Petpets, Blizzie?"

Huntress looked down at the two petpets. "That'll be one crowded ship once we take it over... nice to see that a Meepit can be a true mate though. Me gang's just a bunch o' braindead anarchists who follow me around 'cause I make it easier fer them to find food. But thar's no need to wait till Bob gets back. The word's already been spread. Once we step aboard, thay'll be there behind the braces and barrels, telling us what to expect wherever we go." She patted the dagger sheath on her belt. "Shall we then?"

((...Have you noticed that most of us have small furry creature armies or sidekicks?)) "Hmph. What silly creatures these petpets are," the weasel general sniffed. "We are certaintly above such petty fights-" Zylaa, desperate to shut him up, lest she end up at swordpoint again, threw a candy wrapper towards the weasels. "Shiiiiinyyyyyy...." they chorused.
