"Any ideas on how we're going to get that leviathan out of here without being noticed?" Thunderbolt said, pointing to the white sailed ship. "Plus the winds don't look to favorable, we'll have t' tack her out. But thats slow and if we leave it, we might not get another chance."

The weasel realized too late that stepping into a group of heavily armed people was a very bad idea. Why did the teachers never mention this? Why did they assume their students had common sense? "Parlay?" she tried weakly.

Rider turned to Zylaa. "Talk and talk fast, if you value your skin."
Then she turned back to Thundy. "If we create a big distraction, we can get away with it. Someone could stay on shore and create a ruckus while the rest of us sneak into the ship and take the guards by surprise. We'd sail away and our distractor would follow us in Thunderbolt's boat or Kat's barge."

"Well, the winds won't be a problem once we take the ship," Ikkin said with a grin. Strong winds picked up around her, lifting her several inches into the air, where she remained. "I'm an air mage, and I know a few things about using the wind while sailing the waves. We'll be out of there in no time, once we get past the guards."

"Well, I got a good trick you can use with Gunpowder. I'll need a couple o' barrels," Thunderbolt said.

"Well, I got a good trick you can use with Gunpowder. I'll need a couple o' barrels," Thunderbolt said. "Perhaps we could liberate a few old rum barrels from the pub," Rider said, running behind the old building. There were broken barrels everywhere. Rummaging through the junkyard, she found two large barrels that weren't completely busted up.

Up above the party of the forming crew in a tree was a girl. Though she could hear everyword quite perfectly, she was not evesdropping, and with a little luck, she herself wouldn't be dropping anytime soon.
She huged the palm tree tight with her legs and an arm wrapped around it. The runk began to bend slightly. It was still a rather young palm and not exactly the sturdiest thing on the island. With the only hand that wasn't gripping tightly to the slippery bark she was stretching forward as much as she could for what appeared to be a very strange petpet, which while being nothing but a bird, appeared to be laughing at her. It was an odd bird that was part eagle and part seagull. In one of it's claws it held a small brown pouch. To a spectator it may seem that she was trying to catch the bird to sell as a new rare breed of petpet. Really, she was just trying to get her 5 reals back from her mischevious pet.

"I do value my skin! No use to you at all though- the fur's all grimy, would take ages to make into a proper coat, and... er... I've got an army of weasels, and they'll gut you where you stand!" She realized this was still not the best tactic. "Or they'll help you if you spare my life," she muttered, kicking a stone in dejection.

"Yer gonna steal a ship?" The Korbat was quite taken aback. She glanced around, taking in the crowd that had gathered. "Hrrm. I've not sailed on a ship much, and I'm not the seafarin' type. But wit' me shop in splinters, I don't have any way of earnin' me daily bread." She shook her head. "I'd like to join ye if yer sailin', but leave me out of the hijackin' bit." She settled herself on top of one of the barrels Rider had found. "I'll wait here, if ye don't mind."
Turning a little, the korbat noticed the girl in the tree. "Hey there, missy!" She shouted loudly. "Whatcha' doin' in that tree? It's not going to hold ye much longer!"

Kat glanced at her barge. "Hmmm...ye 'ave a fine eye fer these things, don'cha?" she remarked. "Me barge was a gift fer me from the last guy who serenaded yers truly with a mandolin. At first 'twas a great relationship, 'til he found a better-looking wench'n me. 'Course, I ran off and got ta keep the barge. Now, that thing 'side my barge is what I call a ship."
She snapped her fingers, watching a few purple sparks jump from her nails and leaned in closer to whisper to Rider and the rest. "Aye, I can create a good enough diversion if ye want t'steal that ship. But first...care ta intr'duce yerselves?"

I've been rattling off names and we haven't introduced ourselves yet? ^_^ )[/glow] "Arr, I be Cap'n Rider the Red, or th' old ship Meteor. Ye've heard of the buxom beaut?" She looked around at all of the blank faces. "Apparently not." She turned to Zylaa. "And ye, weasel-child, have made th' right choice. Ye seems like a pow'rful ally."

"The Meteor, ye say?" remarked Kat. "One o' me past flames mentioned something 'bout a ship named that. Anyhoo, I be Kat. Just Kat, ye mind? Me real name's far too long fer discussions like these. Some call me the Royal Wench, 'cause I wear loads o'purple. And did I mention I'm a royal pain in the butt?
"So, Cap'n, ye willing to take me into yer crew? I'm crewless, see. 'Tis been mostly me and me barge."

Keng, for the moment, ignored Komori after a slight glance down, knowing that if she let her guard down now Scallywag would undoubtubly drop her coins into the ocean where they would be lost forever. She made one last swipe for the pouch, just barely grasping it intime before there was a loud crack and she was hanging upside down with only her legs holding onto a failing trunk.
"I was just trying to get me purse back from me bird." she finally replied awkwardly with an inverted view of the korbat she was speaking to. "Now I'd suggest you move, I'll be dropping from this 'ere tree any moment now."

"Amy's me name." the girl said stepping forward, "Oh.. and it's best if ye all know - I be good at stealing things and the Neopian Police are after me. Just though ye should know just incase something happens... And, the Meteor? I've never 'eard of it."
She pondered for a second, seemingly racking through memories trying to see if she had ever heard of the Capn Rider's old ship. Jerking out of her trance she said, "Would any of ye need me to get anything for the ship, if ye'd be kind enough to take me for your crew? Amy looked around hopfully.

"It'd be lovely if'n ye could liberate some vittles for the ride," Rider said. "Any sort o' food will do. Glad ta be havin' ye aboard, Amy. And ye, Kat. We could use one with skills like yers."
She turned to Keng. "And who be ye?"
