A straggly dark blond haired girl, by the name of Amy, was crouched over the bar, squinting into an empty bottle of rum. She only had a few reals left. Her reals were kept in a worn looking leather pouch strapped to her chunky belt, as was a pistol and a cutlass. Amy's eyes had dark circles underneath them, showing she was quite the traveler, and usually would overwork herself.
Unlike some of the others in the tavern, she was pretty quiet, but seemed to know a thing or too about fighting, as she had a few scars upon her face and hands. Sighing, and dropping the empty bottle onto the bar, Amy span around on her seat, observing the others, her eye brows raised and leg crossed. She leaned back, spreading her arms out across the bar to hold herself up, appearing relaxed.
The truth was, the Neopian Police were looking for her. She had lived in the Lost Desert and had stolen some things from the market place. But it'd been so easy to steal... Amy wanted a challenge. She had hidden on a ship going to the Neopian Central to deliver Lost Desert goods, and began stealing from there. But she had gotten caught, and now, the Police were after her. She'd changed her appearence and taken to this place, by the sea. She hoped for a little adventure here...

A teenage girl, looking to be about fourteen or fifteen, entered the bar, looking around slightly nervously. Shaking back her long dark hair, she sat down in a table off to one side, watching the others through narrowed green eyes. "Elc, this isn't a good idea," murmured a voice from her feet, and a white Gathow jumped up to the seat beside her. "D'you even realize what you're getting yourself into? Sparrow and Blitzkrieg..." "I know, Bliz," the girl said, cutting her off. "And this is the best choice. I couldn't support everyone back home. Sparrow's returned to the Lost Desert - I think she plans to contact the Scarabs - and your brother has gone to stay with Malen and the rest... but that's not for me. Thieving, ninjas, villainy - well. Piracy is the way for me to go. I've always loved the sea, and I have... skills... I think any crew would want." Her catlike tail flicked. "Some would consider pirates to be the most notorious thieves and villains of them all," Blizzard said. "You hush," said the girl, placing a finger on the Gathow's nose. "Now I need to find a crew." She glanced around, her long foxlike ears pricking up and swiveling to listen in on the conversations of the rest of the tavern.

The weasel looked suspiciously around at the other patrons, and sidled closer to the recently entered teen. "Would you be interested in one of these informative brochures on how alcohol could kill you?" she asked, hopeful. Everyone else had just laughed at her or hit her on the head... perhaps this girl would be kinder. At least she wouldn't pack as much of a wallop if she turned violent.

"She's just blocking me thats all. I can't move her out of there without some how lifting it over your Barge," The boy said to the woman in Purple. He pulled out a flask and took a deep drink from it. "Name's Thunderbolt. They call me that because I keep navigating myself into storms" He laughed.

Hearing the argument between the boy named Thunderbolt and the purple girl with the barge, Ikkin decided to stay behind in the inn as Rider went to talk to Kirby. Perhaps one of the two would be inclined towards adventuring...
She walked closer to the two and leaned up against the nearest table, watching and waiting to see how things turned out. If she was careful, this might turn out quite well... but, for now, she would try her best to look casual until the time was right.

The Thirecat looked, startled, at the one who had addressed her. "If you're so worried about alcohol, why are you hanging out in a bar?" She sounded a bit curious. "I mean, someone could stab you in a drunken rage or something." Blizzard quickly turned her laugh into a small cough. She and Elycien had agreed that it would probably be best to hide her ability to speak. They didn't want her getting kidnapped by some pirate who thought a talking Petpet would be a nice source of income.

"I can take care of myself," the weasel harrumphed. "And what other place would you suggest I take my pamphlets? Most people are nice and sober." She glared at the petpet and took a swig from her hip flask, neatly dispatching the copywright lawyers that tried to arrest her.

"'Tis a pleasure to meet ye, Thunderbolt," said the wench, chuckling slightly at his remark and thrusting out a hand for him to shake. "They call me Kat 'round these parts, 'cause me real name's too long for the drunken folk to pronounce. Don't do much sailing meself, I'm just stopping by to take in the sights, is all."
Then she dropped her voice and began speaking in an entirely different accent. "Actually, I don't speak a lot like a pirate. I just do it to mingle with the folks."
Kat stepped around Thunderbolt and walked outside, resuming her pirate accent. "I be moving the barge for ye, Thunderbolt," she called out. "I travel alone, mostly, but 'twouldn't hurt to have some company sometime."

Most of the people here seemed to be people of sea. Amy, having lived in the Lost Desert for most of her life hadn't encountered the sea that much, but knew how to swim. Maybe these people held treasures she could take.. She listned carefully to the girl with the barge, and the boy named Thunderbolt. They seemed much like sea people, so Amy sidled closer, pretending to inspect the empty rum bottles left by drunks - but really, she was listening in for any mention of treasure or adventure.

A short brown Korbat stormed up to the pink cannoneer and shoved herself between him and the caped one. She was in quite the disheveled state, with large chunks of wood and debris caught in her hair, and she viciously waved a hammer in his face.
"Was it yer cannonballs that wrecked my workshop?!?" she shouted. "Tore up the whole shop, they did! I hope ye have a way of payin' fer the damages!" She seemed quite intent on resolving this problem with her fists.

Kat returned after steering the barge off to a different place on the harbor, tossing her hair back and shaking a few flecks of salt from it. She returned to Thunderbolt.
"Aye, ap'rently this place be rather popular," she drawled. "A whole crowd coming suddenly, eh? Anyhoo, Thunderbolt, that barge be steered away from yer precious ship. If ye don't believe me, ye can see for yerself."

"Yep," Kirby said. "I've been practicing for a long time now."
"Yeah." Pichu said. "I had to remind him a few times to get him to practice."
"Oh shush," Kirby sighed. "like you can do better."
Pichu then shot down 10 rocks in about 5 seconds.
"I can do that in 6..." Kirby gasped. "You're only one second better though. It doesn't make much difference."
Kirby then glanced at the angered brown Korbat.
"That would be me. I need to practice, as if I don't get enough. Erph." He sighed.
(And according to some posts, I've actually been a pirate for about almost a year now. XD)

"Kirby, Pichu, we could use men of your skill. Would you like to help us capture a ship and sail her on the seven seas? You could make more than enough money to repair her workshop."
Rider then turned to Komori. "And you, I see, are a carpenter? How skilled are you?"

"Aye!" Kirby agreed, while snapping his eye patch on. "I be ready to catch anything. Yar!"
Pichu had just put on his hook. "I'll help too, if we can get, oh say... a cruise ship. You know, somthing fancy and luxury."
