...or more accurately, the War Cabin. Or, knowing us, the War Barrel With Crates Around It For Sitting On. We're pirates, we're not supposed to be picky.
Anyway, the Guild Wars. Since there are so many pirates in this show - am immensely proud of ye guys, keep it up, love you all ^^ - and we've become a little scattered at this point, I figured it'd be easier for us to keep up with the show on a separate thread rather than the ever-long main OOC thread. Not to mention this is a pirate-centered thread, making it easier to look at GW2 from a specifically pirate point of view. And I wouldn't want anyone to drop out because of inability to keep up :<
Down to business *scribbles something on the barrel* Most of the pirates are in the woods about to poke Fraze's spaceship with sticks like a bunch of baboons - you know I would if I was taking all this a little less seriously :3 - and Dragon's off somewhere, stabbed a ninja the last time I checked. And so early on in the RP too. Major props. Bloody Mary's on a mission impossible on his own, which is a bit of a bugger because 1) I hate getting separated from him or any of the meepits in the RP, makes me control two characters at once and that's mega-hard, and 2) he really does need backup. Wasn't thinking straight when I left him on his own (and that's my fault as much as the captain's fault >>)
Hm. Zylaa? I think I might need weasels there.

Weasels are all massing around Fraze, still. Some are bound to go after Kat, since she's got the Precious, but a bunch will be hanging around waiting for something shiny to show up. If Bob can find anything shiny and wave it at them- heck, bits of mica lying around in the field would even work- they'll start to listen.

Yeah okay, so I'm just making my way towards the ship right now.

I love me. <3 [/glow]

I'm still being distracted by shiny new technology... but if I weren't, I'd be only-too-willing to be Bloody Mary's back-up. That is, if the current dropship situation pans out well (i.e. minimal injury to those involved).

I wouldn't mind some splattering blood at this point xP *has been in a state of mind where some throat-slitting would be the loveliest thing ever; that's what studying for the British culture exam does to you, people* Bloody Mary's probably still on the field, but I think I need to cut off his mission since Kit now has the shiny and all the Knights seem to have pulled an Eragon. Which means that the weasels would probably have to return from the Knights to the field, Bloody Mary could then hear about the show, and all 'em rodents could then return. Zylaa, mind taking that? I never was comfortable with using other people's charas, companions or not.

I giggle until the end of the next page after reading that! My sister kept going "what's happening! What's happening!" thinking I was laughing at something new. Brilliant posting. Anyways, though I am in Spacefleet primarily, I'm still a pirate, and I may provide my services to you guys in the future. Maybe. I haven't decided yet. Depends on where this plot goes.

[glow=red,2,300]Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to mourn the death of our beloved White Weewoo. She was a good girl, except that she was filthy and always smelled like rum. She kept us by her side like a mother, or to be more accurate, we attached ourselves to her like barnacles and called her mommy like Hu has done to me. She sheltered us and kept us safe and warm, and she was even warmer when Hu tried to burn her down.
Ashes to ashes, dust to dust, and all to foam on the sea.[/glow]

I don't sit around watching my ship getting godmoded to death. That's essentially why I introduced the kraken so early on in the RP. He's not just a weapon. He's a protective device. The Weewoo is the most fragile item in this war, because without it the Pirates would be out of the game (that, or turned into The Roaming Rogues, and as much as I like alliteration, well, you get the picture.) Problem is, I probably won't be able to participate much for the next couple of days. My schedule's getting really, really tight. But if anything of a similar kind happens again, by all means, let me know >___> Or use the kraken. His description is nicely filed under my profile in the Signup thread.

Lovely :3 I'll send you the bill for repairment costs over the course of the next week. Good. You can send it over with the rent and my cut of your plundering. XD *disappears again* I need to install a revolving door one of these days. And deal ^^ You'll get a pearl necklace and five shinies. Desperate times, not much plunder lately >> *shoves a big chest under her bunk* Anyway, back to action. Current state of affairs, people: the Weewoo caught fire, yes, but it took no longer than ten minutes to put it out (now aren'tcha glad we adopted the kraken?) The sails and a number of lines have probably burned beyond save, and I'm expecting a few bent yards, but every ship has spare sails and ropes in the hold, and the fire didn't burn long enough to reach them, so it'll just delay things a little. The masts should only have a half-inch deep layer of scorched wood on them (you know how long it takes for logs to burn through, right?); the yards, albeit somewhat thinner, shouldn't've taken much more damage, but should probably be replaced as soon as possible, just in case. And this event goes down in the GW2 Chronology as the moment where the Pirates declared war ^^ Though it'll be a while until I can focus on typing up another post. Not sure about sailing away. I wouldn't wanna leave Bloody Mary and Dragon. Though I can probably bring in the meepit and have him tell his story later, whatever it was, and Dragon can shapeshift.

[glow=red,2,300]To go to the Darkside or not to go to the Darkside?
Hunty and myself already made posts suggesting we're going to stay good. However, nothing's set in stone. The demons tried tempting us with money, but after the recent fire, y'know what would be a better offer? Vengeance and safety. Demonic protection, to sail the seas as we will.
How do you guys feel about this? I mean, we don't discriminate against demons. We used to keep one in a stable belowdeck. XD[/glow]

We have a stable belowdeck? o.o
Mrmyes, I didn't even form an opinion on the demon-offer, I just disregarded it for the time being due to more important matters (like bloody vengeance). But it'd make sense. Money is a small question, but the pirates, as outcasts, and very disadvantaged ones, would be the first to grab an alliance as soon as they can. We have a ship to protect, and our freedom. What happens on the land with any of the other guilds and the farmers wouldn't really concern us. The only real issue is the code of honor, but really... take what you can, give nothing back :3
What I don't like is the prospect of splitting the crew. Whichever way we go, I'd like us to go all together *cue cheesy heroic music*
