The floors creaked on the west side of the mansion. An asian girl cursed loudly at the lack of stealth that they provided as she stepped out of her hiding spot; the shadow behind a door. There was a dark shadowiness color on her until she reappeared into the light. It seemed as though the color change was just a flicker of the light, but others who knew her knew better. She didn't bother aknowleging who was in the mansion, for she had better things to do. She could always chill around later. Now, she had a score to keep.
Hu murmurred a few words and immediately disappeared.

*he grinned back at Ginz* The same. When was the last time I saw you? Its been too long Im sure *for the sake of argument lets say the last time they met was 5 years ago when Hogwarts was formed, only Warlock wanted no part of it and they went their seperate ways* How are things?

Elycien, meanwhile, was glancing around as if she were carefully observing the hall, but in truth she was examining something more hidden. She nodded approvingly. "Very solid," she said. "And quite safe, too. You'd almost think it was a true world at first." The girl smiled. "I'm a traveler," she explained. "World-hopping. Very fun. But I decided to settle down here so I could try and learn more about the magic of other worlds."

Echo raised an interested eyebrow. "I've always wanted to go to other...other..." she yawned sleepily. "Wow. I've got to go to bed...big day tomorrow!" She waved and tiptoed up the staircase, forgetting that Elycien knew nothing about it.

Outside the manor, there stood a thin, small girl with brown hair that stuck to the sides of her face because of the rain. She didn't want to enter the manor. Not yet.
"This was a bad idea," she said to herself. She sat on the cold, hard ground and stared at the sky. How she wished she was back home, back in the ocean studying water magic with the other water faeries. But, no, her mother had to send her to this...this new place for "gifted" mages where she, Belle, would get to "interact with the best of the best and learn to appreciate cultures from other worlds". Please! She could "appreciate" other cultures through using the interactive books in her school's archives. Besides, no matter how interesting meeting non-faeries was, nothing -- nothing! -- could make up for losing her tail . Stupid legs. Stupid land. The humidity was making her skin flake but at least, now that it was raining, she could still have the privilege of staying wet.
After a few minutes, she decided that she'd have to go into the manor soon enough, anyway. So, she stood up (wobbling a bit) and opened the front door...

Belle heard the sound of voices coming from somewhere near. Ah, well. Might as well meet some of the other mages that got duped into going to this place...
When she finally found the people to whom the voices belonged to, she joined them hesitantly. As soon as the others saw her, they all stopped talking. Belle blinked.
"Er...hi?"

Ginz was glad at least one of the faces in the manor was familiar to her. She wasn't the best at meeting strangers, being naturally shy as she was. She introdiced herself to the girl called Elycien, but she didn't catch the name of the girl who went to bed early. She'd have to meet her tomorrow. Just as she was really to find a place where to sleep herself, she spotted a newcomer.
"Hi!" she replied, and smiled warmly. The girl reminded her of herself... thin, small, kind of shy. "I'm Ginz"

Kathy finally got downstairs, having decided not to take most of the shortcuts, and made it to the entry hall. Completely ignoring everyone there, she made her way straight to front door, retrieved her broomstick, made her way back, and then noticed everyone there. "Hi, what's everyone doing here? What are your names? I'm Kathy."
