((Ack, sorry guys, I was at camp this past week! So, let's get this going again...))
Surf caught the ball, and threw it over to Rikku, on target this time.

Rikku concentrated, and the shapeless blob of light she was working on resolved itself into something vaguely reminiscent of a cube.
Rikku crowed, then yelped as Surf 'threw' the ball over to her. "I'm not ready!" she pleaded, snatching at the ball and somehow managing to juggle it as she tried to keep its shape. It started to flatten at the edges. Rikku winced, and quickly 'passed' it to Aly, managing to keep it somewhat sphere-shaped.

Salah watched, trying to hide how stunned she was. Admittedly, she'd never taught multi-elemental mages before. "Wow, that was good," she encouraged Rikku, who looked less than happy with her performance. "Really created the illusion of solidity there." Albeit, very light and bouncy solidity, she admitted to herself.
"When all of you think you've got the hang of this... we'll move onto something else."

"Wow, that was good," Salah said, looking a little surprised. Am I really that bad? Rikku thought indignantly, but smiled at the light mage's next comment. "Really created the illusion of solidity there."
I did? Really? First try? I did well? Surely not ..."Thank you," Rikku said, feeling somewhat more cheerful.
"When all of you think you've got the hang of this... we'll move onto something else."
"Okay," Rikku nodded, and stood back a little, hoping that the ball wouldn't get 'passed' to her again. She'd never been much of one for sports.
