I'm a pretty lenient teacher with an even more lenient schedule, so grab your cauldron and stirring rod. There are ingredients in the back, books for references that you can borrow (but hey, bring them back! XD), and spare cauldrons and stirring rods in case...things happen to yours. Now then...*bewitched chalk starts writing words on the blackboard* Potions are magical liquids or liquid mixtures with various components brewed for a particular purpose. Just about anyone can create a potion; unless special spells are needed, all you need are your ingredients and a sense of precision, and a bit of obsessive-compulsiveness, because there are some tricky potions that, when you screw 'em up, can have results too gruesome for human eyes. >=D *stares at words on the blackboard* Don't worry, we'll get to the practical part real soon. Now, potions' components can be anything, from plain water to a camel's kidney stone. They determine the power and purpose of a particular potion. Even the way you stir the potion contributes to the composition, so pay attention when you're told to stir clockwise or counterclockwise.[/shadow]
