((Yep, another one. Here are my character profiles:
Name: Dayna
Age: 10
Race: Elf
Appearance: Long black hair that she usually ties with a blue ribbon. She wears a white blouse, baggy brown pants and leather sandals.
Bio: Her parents died when she was seven, because the villagers thought they were a witch and a warlock. She became orphan because of that and decided to leave the town, scared of getting burnt also. She currently lives in the forest.
Personality: Very shy and quiet, sometimes too much for her own good.
Weapons: She still has her father's sword, but she has never used it and doesn't kno how to.
Powers: She doesn't know it, but she has many powers. She discovers them through the RP.
And here's another one:
Name: Fiona
Age: Unknown
Race: Witch
Appearance: Black hair with strands of grey, due to age and silver eyes. She wears a black robe and carries a back that contains numerous things.
Bio: Scared of being burnt by the townspeople, she has established a home in the forest. She discovered an old book of ancient scriptures, and found out, by this book that there used to be 10 magical gems, each posessing a different power, that were on earth. Everyone wanted the gems anf fought over them, so to stop this chaos, a fairy sent all the gems into their proper owner's bodies. She is now searching for the gems.((Sorry, I know this is kinda copying Gem Sword...))
Personality: She usually is mean, nosy and sly, taking things to her advantage, but sometimes her consience will kick in.
Weapons: She doesn't have any weapons, more like 'tools'. She has a series of rods, each having a different use. (and I'm too lazy to name them all...)
Powers: She has many powers, like all witches. Once again, I'm too lazy to name them all.))
((I'll let someone else start the RP, I'm out of ideas.))

((Wheee... I'll play... er... Amika. My youngest character, currently. Her story's kinda close to Dayna's, though... ah well. Here's her profile. And I'm terrible at starting RPs (i.e., every RP I've ever started has died), so... maybe someone else should start? Name: Amika <ah-mee-kah> Age: 10 Gender: Female Race: Tijanese (muaha... ph43r the Tijan.) Race Description: The Tijanese are good fighters, and even better with magic. They have a vaugely human form, but their eyes and hair are colored according to their magics. Their skin is also colored according to what magic they possess, though less visible than their eyes and hair. They also have large, rather dragon-like wings, and clawed hands and feet. The Tijanese are a very tall race, the women ranging from 6 and a half to 7 and a half feet tall, and the tallest women being over 7 and a half feet tall, and the men ranging from 8 feet tall to 9 feet tall, the tallest being over 9 feet tall. Appearance: Amika looks like any other Tijanese. She has black dragon-like wings, and long claws. She has long dark blue hair that falls past her waist. Her eyes are an intense aqua-blue color, and her skin has a very slight blue-ish tint. Amika isn't full grown, but already she's 5 feet 7 inches, being a normal tall Tijanese. Her face is strong, with high brows, a long nose, and a firm chin. Her build is lithe and elegant, and she's very graceful. She wears a slightly tattered dark blue tunic, and black breeches. Past: Normally, Tijanese girls are still with their parents at this age. But Amika is an orphan, cast out after revolts caused her parent's death. She took only her sword and bow, and has lived in the wilderness since age 7. Element: Water Weapons: A short sword, and a longbow. She's also skilled at the martial arts, as are all Tijanese. Personality: Amika is quiet, shy, and fairly anti-social, having lived on her own for three years. She's mature beyond her age, and quite intelligent. She doesn't like being around people at all, and tends to avoid them. She's become good friends with the animals of the forest, especially the wolves, and refuses to kill any of them. She gets very riled up if she sees hunters, and tends to attempt to murder them. She's a vegetarian, by the way.))

((Okay, I'll start it. I'm no longer out of ideas. And about the resemblance between Dayna and Amika, you're right. Oh well, they should get along better that way. ^_^))
Dayna was sprawled on the forest floor, sound asleep. It was late at night, so it was only natural of her to do so.
Fiona wandered from a clearing to another, desperately searching for a gem posessor. She had scanned every human and animal of the forest with her crystal rod, in vain. She noticed the young elf, and sneaked over to her, crystal rod in hand. She kneeled and carefully placed the top of the rod on Dayna's chest. The rod started to glow. Fiona carefully watched the crystal ball at the top of the rod. A small purple gem appeared in the ball. Fiona smiled. Dayna felt something warm on her chest, and opened her eyes, turning to her side. "Mm?" she mumbled.

Due to my Pirates of the Caribbean craze, here goes:
Name: Andra Gender: Female Age: 14 Race: Mostly human, but has some special heritage, for she has a peculiar familiar. Appearance: Very short black hair, dark brown eyes, with baggy red pants and a tight-ish green shirt. Wears a red bandana over her boy-length hair. Short for her age, and very skinny, yet muscular. Personality: Very much a pirate, though not as rude as one. Very straightforward and down-to-earth, but sharp as the daggers she keeps. Hard-working and shows little emotion. Quite a tomboy, she knows nothing of love, except for the bond between her and her familiar. (Outlined below) Abilities: Knows little of magic, but is a very versatile fighter. Daggers are her weapon of choice, but also uses fencing swords (lighter and faster than broadswords), hand-to-hand, and a bow and arrow. In excellent physical condition. Bio: A great fighter, abandoned and left for dead at the mercy of pirates when she was 4. Her real parents were in a castle, and so she learned the bow and arrow from them. She looks to be about a quarter elf. She was raised among swashbuckling pirates, and has very much conformed. ((Info on familiar coming later))

Fiona quickly took her rod away. "Nothing, nothing..." she mumbled. "But what are you doing alone here?"
Dayna yawned. "I've always been alone here, you have nothing to worry about. I know how to take care of myself...." she yawned again and turned over, falling back asleep.
Fiona frowned. That girl's got a light sleep. I've got to find a way to take the gem out of her without her waking up. If not, she'll struggle and ruin the whole process. Think, think...

Andra was wandering around a forest. Blasted place. Wouldn't'cha know it I get lost trying t'find th'inn. she cursed, but became quiet when she saw people lying in a clearing. She walked up to them casually. "Good day ... or should I say good evening." She smiled, a dazzling white smile which was unnatural for a pirate, which was part of her great disguise. "I don't suppose ye'd know where t'find th'inn, would ye now?" Curse it all. Me awful language might've given it away. Gotta work on that. If me parents had kept me I'd be a fine kid... she frowned inwardly. No, they had t'leave me own me own, leaving me for dead to be killed by th'pirates. If they were here now, I'd be a .... a lady! she shuddered. Suppose it's fer th'best I'm a pirate... Andra turned her mind back to the task at hand. She waited patiently for a response.

Dayna just stayed lying on the ground, still sleeping.
"Good evening..." said Fiona nervously. She got back up. It almost seems like everyone doesn't want me to get the darned jewel! she thought. "An inn? I've never seen an inn anywhere near this forest..."

((Here's the info on the familiar.
Name: Beej Race: Familiar. Doi. Appearance: A cat the size of a kitten, black as the night, with wings attached. Sleek and slender, skinny as Andra, but with eyes gleaming a deep vivid green. Personality: Quite similar to Andra, straightforward and blunt, but cunning and clever. Quicker than the eye can see, people have a habit of losing their purses when she's around. The aura of magic lingers around her, penetrating anything and everything. Who knows what else she can do...

((Beej "talking" will be in green, FYI. She can talk to anyone she wishes, though only who she wishes. No "overhearing" those who try to God. Mod. Andra talking back to Beej will be italics.)) Nice one. Told you we were farther away from the town. Perhaps tell them you're a pirate...Quiet, Ms. Smart alec. You think ye can impress 'em with yer special talkin' skills ... go ahead, I'm not stopping ye, and not stopping ye 'til after ye're burned at a stake. As bad as cats with wings might be, talkin' ones aren't appreciated, fer sure.Just saying, you could try to be a little more eloquent, and maybe they'd release information more voluntarily.Ye think ye knows everything...Don't I, though?Andra cursed to herself some more, but smiled brightly. "Really? I was in a town, couldn't've been more than a twenty minute walk from here. Tryin' to find the inn, for a night's sleep, and got lost. Any way ye can help me?" She smiled innocently, as Beej showed herself from behind Andra's legs. Beej crept around her legs slowly, keepng her wings clung tight to her back.

Amika had been staying up late, playing around in the water. She was just getting to bed (settling onto a tree branch; she had a special thing for trees, even though she was pretty sure they weren't part of her magic) when she heard the voices. She had known that another girl, of elven-looking heritage and about her age, shared the forest with her, but the forest was large, and they did not meet very often. When they did, usually only one or the other realized it. Amika was shy, but she wanted to find out what on earth was going on. She assumed that from the closeness of the voices, they were all in the small clearing nearest to her (she knew this forest well). Instead of flying, since her wings made a rather loud clap when she took off, she climbed out to the end of the branch she was sitting on, and jumped to the branches of the next tree, which was very near. From that tree, she could peer into the clearing. She saw the elf, as well as an older woman who looked witch-ish in Amika's eyes. There was also a girl who looked a bit older than Amika or the elf. Amika wondered what on earth they were all doing there, and crept out to the end of the branch she was on. Spreading her wings slightly for balance, and gripping the branch gently (so as not to hurt the tree) with her clawed hands, she let her dark blue hair fall over her face as she quietly watched the conversations from the shadows above.

"Afraid not. I live in this forest, and I don't go out of it much. The young'un here doesn't seem to either..." Fiona answered. She dropped her crystal rod. Smiling shyly((sp?)), she pushed it behind her feet, scared that the others would maybe realize that she was a witch.

Beej saw the rod drop, and rushed over to sniff at it. Remembering she was pretending to be an ordinary cat, she tried to look unintelligent.
Andra noticed Beej rushing over, but tried to take attention away from it. She continued shyly. "Well, it's just that me family'll be looking fer me ... we're reunitin' tonight fer the first time in a couple a years ... me brother's been at the castle far away learning to be a knight, and another was at the convent studying priesthood ... realize I'm not a conventional lady, but I'm gonna be th'owner of our fief soon, and I need t'be there ... if I don't, my family will have t'assume the worst, and then what will become of the fief? Me mum died a few months back, and me dad isn't in much better health..."
You realize what trouble you could be getting into, spewing a lie such as that? Not entirely a lie ... the first mate did die on our last voyage, and after me trip to th'inn, there'll be a meein' about it ... and maybe I'm t'be the captain of th'ship soon... You wish. Still can't figure out what this rod means...

Amika shifted slightly. The witch-woman-person-thingy seemed sort of suspicious... like had been doing something she didn't want to get caught at before the others arrived. And the cat... As Amika shifted, the scabbard which held her short sword got caught on a nearby branch, nearly pulling her off of the one she was sitting on. She would have fallen off but for her clawed feet, which she wrapped around the branch to keep from plunging to the ground. However, after this, she figured she would be done with hiding, because only someone extremely daft could have ignored her near-plunge. So she disentangled herself from the tree, which seemed as though it had put out branches to catch her, and glided down to the others. 'I am Amika,' she said, 'I live it this forest. I would like to know what you are all doing here at this time of night.'
