The rain abruptly stopped and Ame opened her eyes. "It didn't work," she sighed. "What can I do now?"
Louder, she asked, "If I flood the land, will it damage anyone badly? Like fire elements?"

Sileen concentrated on the wyvern's ruined eyes. A white light shot from them and entered the wyvern through a wound. The wyvern made a screech of pain.

Nio lashed her tail worriedly. 'I don't think we should result to something that drastic yet,' she said to Ame. 'Flooding the land might cause problems.' Nio concentrated, and another white-hot lightning bolt shot through the air, this time striking the wyvern's tail. The tail was injured, but not so much that the poison would flow no more. There would just be less of it.

The wyvern's brain was in overdrive.
Blindly and in pain, it whipped it's tail in an arc, and charged at the griffins, tail gone mad.

Yakimo stops her fire storm, and surronds a fire sheild around herself. The fire sheild grows so hot that only those of the fire element are fine inside of it. Anything else inside will instantly turn into ashes.

Nio abandoned attack efforts and moved to the defensive. Taking a hint from Yakimo, she surrounded herself with a crackling lightning shield.

Brandon wasnt qukc enough -
the tail grazed all the way from his foreleg to hindquarters, not deep enough to leave a scar, but deep enough to leave poison.
Lucky for him, it was the wrong edge, but he didnt know that, and in a last desperate attempt, bit off the wyvern's tail.

Sileen closed her eyes, and a shield of light surrounded her. She opened them. One without the light ability will be blinded if inside.

Nio saw Brandon grazed, and the less panicked part of her brain immeadiatly told her that it had been the non-lethal side of the tail. But of course, the larger panicking side of her brain didn't listen very well. Nio screeched and struck the tail with an enormous lightning bolt. An electric current now flowed through the entire wyvern, which was surely agony for the beast. Nio staggered slightly, for the lightning bolt had taken a great deal of her power. For now, her storm powers were gone. Regaining her balance, she ran over to Brandon. 'Are you alright?' she asked worriedly.

Yakimo snorted, and lies down, fire sheild still around her. "Stupid thing deserved it,"she snarls, "Insulting me like that. Pft."

"Why - why isnt the poison taking effect?" he asked anxiously.

Nio, after finally listening to the more rational side of her brain, replied to Brandon, 'I believe that the reason it isn't taking affect is because you were not poisoned. You were hit with the harmless side of the tail.'

Sileen walked up and made a hard swipe at the wyvern. It went unconcious, but it would be dead in a matter of moments. Sileen glared at it before walking back to the others. She tried to write something about the wyverns in the sand, but when her claw hit the ground, a large wave of pain shot up Sileen's arm. She drew her arm back.

Nio pondered on the wyverns for a moment, but then, noticing Sileen, Nio asked her, 'What's wrong? Are you hurt?'
