Sileen ran after Yamiko and examined her. She looks up in the sky, and sees something heading towards them, kind of like what Yamiko described. She recognizes it immediately. Sileen is suddenly afraid.

"Dragon?" snorts Yakimo. "Look, if it had been a dragon, I wouldn't have been in any condition!" Glaring at the others, she continues, "Look, it had to be something much more powerful than a dragon than to nearly kill me." Brandon glared. "Dragons are far more pwoerful than griffins. Did you learn anything as a fledgling or what?" He fails to notice Sileen. |

Yakimo's eyes narrowed at Brandon, and she started to growl.
"Not if you're of the fire element," she states. "Then you are close to matching dragons in their power. Not exactly, but close enough!"

Ame would have laughed if she knew how to, properly.
"Brandon... you have much to learn, in that case. Gryphons are all different. Some can match a dragon for power. Some cannot fight but are strong in healing powers. Because you cannot face a dragon, it does not mean that others can."
Shrugging, she said, "Well, no dangers from the West. There's a lake to the south, and unless you found a sea serpent, it shouldn't have come from there. East or North, whatever attacked you would have come, and retreated to, one of those directions."

Nio narrowed her eyes irritably at the arguing gryphons and looked off to where Sileen was looking. She froze, feathers on end and crest straight up. She looked frightenedly at the others, and said in a harsh whisper, 'Quiet! Don't you see that thing?'

"Who said I cant fight a dragon?!" he demanded angrily. "We of the earth element have power over nature, something a dragon could never match! Dont you dare -" he silenced as he looked up at what Nio had mentioned. "A wyvern. That is most definitely not good." ((A wyvern is a two-legged miniature dragon, however, it has a tail which has a long tooth-like tip, like a thresher sharks tail, whic has poison. Wyverns are VERY quick)) |

Yamoki stands her ground, spreads her wings and faces the wyvern. "That's the thing," she hisses under her breath. Suddenly, fires start to swirl around her at high speeds. More come and they get bigger as they continue to swirl around the blood-red Gryphon. Yamoki stands in the fire storm, staring up at the wyvern.

Brandon, not wanting to alert the wyvern, begins to get the earth power ready.
Vines begin to twist through the air, going at the wyvern's heels ans suffocating the dangerous tail-blade...

Sileen closes her eyes and concentrates. You can tell she's concentrating hard because her eyes are shut tight, and she has become rigid. A silver and white glow starts to arouse from her, then, there is an orb in the air, and white lights are zapping at the gryphons, protecting them.
She opens her eyes and starts to claw at the wyverns.

Nio closes her eyes, and for several moments, seems to be oblivious to the approaching wyvern. Then her eyes fly open, and a suddenly the air near her begins to crackle with lightning.
((Nio's power is storms... she can conjoure and control storms as well as do a bit of healing.))

"A wyvern. That's a dragon, isn't it?" Ame asked. As the others found their magic, Ame closed her eyes and concentrated. A blue light surrounded her and clouds formed overhead.
The clouds opened and a torrent poured out from them, the rains, once hitting the ground, turning around to close the gap between the wyvern.
(Hope I'm not intruding on Nio's magic....)

((Mesa gonna RP as wyvern for a minute  )) The wyvern, hearing strange noises, looked down. His eyes shone with fear at the gryphon magic, but then gave a horrible needle-like grin and shot at the one had had injured earlier, tail tensing. |

Nio tried to conceal her fear of the wyvern, and brought up a large lightning bolt that struck the wyvern square in the face, ruining the thing's eyes.

Nio's last lightning bolt took a good deal of power, so she figures she can only do small things now, and saves her powers for later. They've got to get that tail under control, or it's going to hurt someone. But how...
