"One of the speed twins, and the posessor(sp?) of the element of canine. Whitney, the other speed twin is on the other side of the lake. She has the element of feline." Jade replied. Moki, after having watched Brandon take off, decided to go back to his owner and her friend. He smelled the girl his owner was talking to, and decided he liked her. He started rubbing against her legs, and purring loudly. |

((Yay! I've caught up! *cough*))
Nokua looked at her younger sister with worry. Something strange had happened only moments after the shadow spiders had left. There had been some kind of door... a strange being... and a near-death experience. She suspected it had happened to Obrai and Eny, too.
Obrai had a limp, and was carrying Eny. Why would Haroo attack him? Had it been because he had finally reunited with his childhood friend? No... That couldn't be... Maybe his gem had changed colors or something. He gave the unconcious --or rather, tainted-- Eny on his back.
The youth was whispering strange words, and had obviously come into contact with Haroo also. She was fighting, that was for sure, but for how long? Would Haroo take Nokua's sister?
The three came to a strange lake with a cabin off to the side; a handful of people stood by it.
"C'mon! Maybe they can help us!" Nokua exclaimed as she ran ahead.
"Right! Like someone would help a boy with green skin!" He shouted after her, limping faster.

Kae nodded carefully. "So... he's not a normal person? Well, that's sort of a relief, I hate explaining things - unless you are good at that and can do it alone." Smiling, she walked over to the door and said, "Animals are really interesting, especially cats."
Noticing the cat by Jade, she crouched and scratched it behind it's ears. "Oh! It's so cute! What's his name?"

"He's called Moki. I gave him a bit of my power, so he's not even scared of water, unlike normal cats." Jade replied. The cat purred even louder when Kae scratched him behind the ears. He definitely liked the girl.

Kae smiled. "Moki. That's such a nice name! For such a nice cat. Do you think he likes me? I... I haven't seen a cat in ages, since before I started travelling."
