((Okay...let's just say he still is....))
Jade rushed outside. The horseman was gone, so she could go out without fearing for herself.
"Clay! Are you alright?" she exclaimed.
She then heard some kind of swooping noise, and looked up at the sky. A griffin mounted by someone she couldn't recognise from the distance was flying in her direction. She backed cautiously at first, and stared at the griffin.

"There she is!" exclaimed Brandon.
"Let's land there."
Teh Grifin complied and landed right next to Jade.
Dismounting, Brandon asked Jade about the horsemen.
"Jade, this guy just came into my house and attacked - you know anything about him?"

"Well, this dark creature on a black horse came here too. And now Clay's in a pretty bad shape." Jade answered, gesturing in Clay's direction.
"Clay told me about purifying gems and such things...I don't really know much though."

Jan appeared. "This is just for safety." The sword went straight to Jade's gem. A wave of light came over it, but nothing else. He did the same for Brandon. "Well," said Jan, "I haven't seen you two in a while. But there's no time to talk. We need to bandage Clay, and purify all others that were here during the Scale attack. Apparently, Haroo was there. I don't know what he was doing there, but--um, maybe we should go inside for the rest of the night. That horseman--he seemed to fear the light."

Jade was startled as Jan appeared and purified her, but then nodded calmly. "I'll go get bandages for Clay, and maybe if Moki isn't sleeping, he can help." she said, going inside. "Moki!" she exclaimed, looking around. "Where are you?!"
A few minutes later, the caramel-colored cat came rushing out of the living room. "Ah, there you are! I need you to go outside and try to heal Clay. That isn't too hard for you, is it?" Jade said to Moki. The animal nodded and rushed to the front door as Jade went to get some bandages.
They both came out, and Moki rushed by Clay's side as Jade walked calmly towards him. "Okay, Moki, you know what to do now." she said to the cat. He nodded slowly and closed his eyes. He started to glow blue, and so did Clay's wound. He stopped glowing, and Clay's wound was smaller, but still there. "It's better than nothing, I guess." Jade said, kneeling down and starting to put the bandages around Clay's waist.

Brandon watched Jade bandage, nodding.
"That isnt going to affect him much; he can still fight and all, right?"

"That wound doesn't seem that bad. Anyway, it's healing has been enhanced by magic, so it should heal faster than ususal." Jade replied.
Moki looked at Brandon, and, having recognised him, he advanced slowly and started rubbing on his legs, purring.

"Well, fight-wise, I don't want anyone with a gem, purified or not, fighting this man," said Jan, "We must find the others now."

(ooc: then I guess I better find my way, huh? Let's say Kae's off doing her thing: wandering)
IC: The forest at night was a beautiful place to travel. Unfortunately, without a destination, it was also a dangerous place to be lost. Kae was lost.
"Erm.... hello?" she called, hoping she wasn't alone in the forest. When no answer came, she sighed and continued walking.
Eventually, a light in the darkness caught her eye. Pushing some branches aside, she leaped over the fallen logs of the forest and halted by the light. It was a cottage, she saw. Voices could be heard, but the words were unrecognisable.
Kae walked over to the door and knocked loudly, brushing the hair in front of her face to cover her forehead, then pulled up her cloak. She wasn't exactly the most normal-looking of people, and many normal villagers were scared of her. With any luck, they wouldn't care what she looked like - or didn't see.

"It looks like we have more then one visitor!" Jan got his sword out. A ninja like figure was now jumping from tree to tree. But as soon as the ninja appeared, Clay woke up. "H-H-H..." The ninja jumped down, grabbed Clay and disappeared in a flash. They stopped on a high, thick tree far away. The ninja was wearing blue ninja armor. he was wearing a face gaurd--those scarfs ninjas where that goes up to there eyes to protect them an there identity. He had blue eyes, and copper hair like Clay and Whitney, but down to his neck. He was most likely in his twenties. ((Think Ein or Hayate... From "Dead or Alive")) "H-H-Hayane..." whispered Clay, "It's you!" "Yes," he said, "Your gem, it has changed." "It's a long story," said Clay, "But it's fine. Don't worry. Why are you here? After you left home, we thought you were..." "I'm here to kill a knight," he said, "A very, evil man... Or thing. He's called the Black Knight." Hayane grabbed herbs from his pocket, and put them on Clay's side. Clay let out a yell of pain. "OW!" "Relax," said Hayane, "It will help you. But did they do that?" Hayane took out his sword. "No," said Clay, "They just want to help." "Well," said Hayane, "I don't want you going down there until I'm sure of that, and I've killed the Black Knight." "You over-protective devil," said Clay, "And don't be so sure YOU'RE going to kill him." "What are you saying?" asked Hayane, with a half-angry glare. "I know a few other people who could do it," said Clay. Hayane glared confidently. Clay knew Hayane was the best for the job. "Where's Whitney?" asked Hayane, looking down at the forest. "On the other side of the lake," replied Clay. "Send her my regards," said Hayane, "But I have something else to do right now. You stay up here. I'll be back." He was gone in a flash. "WAIT!" Clay shouted, knowing there was no way he'd still be even near, "I don't want to stay here..."
