Rhei looked on from a distance at two figures. She focused her hearing and caught a bit about a hidden village. Could this possibly be Stimoi? After all, the village people were very secretive and usually didn't venture out of the town, much less the woods.
The girl kept hidden in the branches of the tree she was perching in. Her duty was to protect Stimoi from invaders, and these figures looked as though they could possibly be some. She'd have to keep a close eye on them...

Hiding up in a tree, I watched the people below. I shifted my position on the branch-why couldn't they act the same around me as they did Mother?-and held my breath as a few needles fell to the ground. I let out a long sigh when they didn't look up, and leaned back on my branch.
Not a good idea to do when you're on a dead tree.
They must have noticed me this time, I thought grimly as I hung on desperately to the tree as the branch plummited to the ground.
Why does everyone in the village have to do sentry duty some times? Why couldn't just the warriors do the guarding?
"Because they're great lunatics who take pleasure in watching other people do this," I grumbled as the small part of the remainder of the branch I had been clinging to broke and I fell towards the ground.
{My characters seem to have a bad habit for plummeting to the ground...}

The Baby got up after having fell on her bum on a small pile of leaves. Never letting go of Doggie, her Turtle plush toy, she walked a few steps further and fell again. Decided crawling was probably easier, she continued her way crawling faster than the wind.
She found a bug. A big, fat green and black bug sitting on a green fat leaf right in front of her. she smiled and drooled on it a bit. Then she took the bug and said "Rhino!" Then she drooled some more and put the bug in the great cavity of spit that most people call mouth. She chewed it and smiled. She continued crawling and gooed.

Kira jumped as she heard someone fall behind her. She looked back, and saw a girl with lying on the ground.
"Are you alright? Let me help you back up." she said, walking towards her and offering her hand.

Finally grinding to a halt, my new branch was bending dangerously, and my head was about six feet off the ground. Hearing a voice behind me, I craned my neck to see who had spoken, and saw a human female with black and blue hair holding a baby. "Er... High," I said. This was not going to go well with the village mayor. |

How clumsy of her to fall out of a tree! If she kept quiet, maybe Stimoi's secret way would be saved. The guard jumped from tree to tree, barely making a sound. She needed to get a closer look, as she wasn't sure she really trusted the person. |
