Brandon prodded Jade with his staff. "Um... Jade... wake up..." He turned to the rest. "Come on, let's repair the gem - quickly!" PS- Cheshire, have you begun making hte ocmic? If so... where's a link? Yeah, I'm making it, but it's not online. Clay walks around to behind Whitney, and taps her on the neck. Dark mist surrounds her for a second, and when it clears, she has the same smirk on her face that Clay has. They approach Mai. |

The cat noticed what happened to Whitney and starts to meow loudly. It runs forward to Mai and scowls at the speed twins. It glows in a shade of blue and runs towards the speed twins at a very high speed. It collides with Clay's leg, and it backs up, repeating the action again and again until it was too tired to continue.

Brandon looks at the two twins.
"What are you..."
Brandon gives a slight frown and raises his staff. A small, thread like bead of light come out, duplicates, and touches the twins. They fall back in revulsion.
Brandon glowers and strenghtens the beam.
"You two! Who are you?"

Most likely... I know the chances of what I wish would happen are very low, but I want to sent it to some Manga creator, and maybe he could publish some of my ideas... In his comics, at least... Clay growled. They were actually showing sets sharp fangs. Both of there Gems changed from White, to black. Clay shot a dark beam, aimed directly at Brandon, then jumped at him baring fangs. |

If you do I'll be following it very closely ^_^ IC: The cat growled at Clay, then started whimpering and ran closer to Jade. She opened her eyes. "What? she said, getting up. She looked at the cat beside her and then looked at Clay jumping at Brandon. What is he doing? she thought. "Moki, what happened?" she asked the cat. Moki jumped into her arms, and meowed a few times. "What? Clay wouldn't do that?! are you sure?" she replied the cat, putting him back on the ground. The cat meowed insistantly, taking a few steps back from Clay and Whitney. |

Mai jumps in the way of Clay, and swings a kick at him. Clay jumps back, but then leaps towards Mai this time, baring fangs. While doing, Whitney jumps to the top of a tree, and glares at Brandon. She prepares a dark ball of energy.

Boy, they really are brainwashed. This is serious, very serious. Jade thought.
"STOP!"
Her rod emitted a few sparks and a mist surrounded everyone, freezing them in place, though not for very long. She looked back and forth between Clay and Whitney worriedly. Your friends have gotten brainwashed by dark energy and you can't even help them?! You really are a weakling dork, Jade! a voice from inside her head said. The only problem was, she wasn't the one thinking that. Someone got inside her thoughts! Her lack of concentration broke the freezing spell. See what I mean? Come with me and you'll be way more powerful! the voice continued. No! I don't care if I'm weak! Get out of my head! she thought back. If you come with me, you could get rid of me very easily! the voice persisted. Her eyes turned pitch black and she raised her left arm without even wanting to. Someone was controlling her! She tried to fight it back but failed miserably. She walked towards Yorrn and threw a tide at her, being controlled again.

Brandon stepped back.
This was SO not good.
How could he handle them without attacking?!
He sent a tremor, catching everyone off guards.
"ATTACK!" he roared, and vines wrapped around everyone.
Pleaseohpleaseohpleaseohplease hold... he thought anxiously.
He shot out beams of light from his staff, hitting everyone saquarely in the forehead on their gems. He kept it up, trying to knock them out.
"Please...work!"

Jade felt a warm light hit her forehead, but the creature who controlled her didn't seem to feel anything. It started to break the vines brutally using dark energy. Whomever got into her body must have planned it very well, since it seemed absolutely flawless. Whenever someone attacked, the pain would go directly to Jade, and it control every one of her powers, including some dark ones the creature had itself. Jade noticed that she was no longer in her body. She was just floating in thin air, looking above the scene. She had gotten ejected out of her own body! She tried to get back in a few times, but just passed back and forth through it. She felt herself get dragged to a farther area into the forest. She tried to ignore it and simply go back where she was before, but was dragged harder and harder until she couldn't move forward anymore. She got to another clearing and she felt like she was in a body again. Only it wasn't hers. She was dressed in a dark robe and her hair was cut short and black. Okay, first I get kicked out of my own body and now I find myself in someone else's! she thought. She decided to walk back to the others and observe what was going on for a while. She pulled the hood on the robe up, so almost noone would see her in the dark night. She felt a gem on her forehead, and she was almost sure it was black, since she didn't have any problem seeing where she was going even though it was night, and only people with dark or shadow powers could. She finally got to the clearing and watched herself attack the others, a feeling of culpability in her heart. She noticed that the gem on her forehead wasn't white anymore; it was more of a dark gray. She felt a sudden urge to get into the fight and beat that intruder out of her own body, but soon changedher mind since she was only left with dark powers now. She hid behind a bush, watching the spectacle unfold. ((Heh, reminds me of the movie 'Freaky Friday'  )) |

"GAAAAH!"
Brandon fell back as Jade broke his grasp on her.
The light hitting the others coiled around them, leaving htem kicking and screaming in agony.
"GET OFF!" Brandon roared, and kicked Jade squarely in the gut, sending her flying back.
He scrambled up and stuck his staff right on her color-changing gem.
"Nighty-night," he said, and sent a concentrated beam of light power straight into her gem.
((Who can say, "ouch"?))

He changed course, tackled the newcomer, and shot a beam of light into it's forhead. OOC: Er...lookie back up and you'll see that Brandon already destroyed the meanie's body by attempting to destroy Jade. His sould is intact, but no more body. *points to former post* |
