It's a chilly night, and as dark as coal. Cyra got off her horse, in hopes that a bit of walking would warm her up. She was lost. Lost in the woods.
"It's gotta be around here... Somewhere..." Cyra said, only for the brown horse to hear. "Curse the illiterate villager! Can't anyone give directions properly these days? Now where is the darn inn..."
She wandered through the woods, finding a sign here and there, indicating an Inn, somewhere, but the gods seemed not to let the poor girl rest. She walked in circles for a long time, finding her way difficultly throught the darkness, until she spotted a trembling light. It was the Inn the villager had talked about.
Cyra hushed her pace, petting her horse, as an encouragement for getting so far. It was an old house, but looked warm and cozy. Cyra left the horse outside, resting near two other horses, a white one and a black poney, and entered the Inn.
There were tables and many people were around, drinking, talking and playing cards. Apparently, the Inn had a tavern included. Cyra avoided a few drunk men, and called to the boy on the other side of the counter.
"I'd like to stay for the night," she informed him.
The boy told her how much, and she paid, but instead of going up to her room, Cyra decided to stick around to see if anything interesting happened, so she grabbed her beer and sat in a round table.
[Okay, people you can make your characters arrive now =) Just one thing: You can't write about other people's characters, okay? And you should post your character's profile in the RP Characters Profiles thread. Also, don't post too much - everyone should have a chance.]

Suddenly, the door burst open, and a cloaked figure, possibly Tylvanias, walked inside, limping. She walked up to the counter and asked if there were any rooms left. When the person at the counter told her yes, she asked for one that is perfectly quiet. She grabbed her key, put her money on the table, and limped upstairs, but then notices Cyra. She stares at her for awhile. When she realized she was not the witch, she walked upstairs to her room, not wanting to be involved with anything. She opened the door, sat on her bed, took out her book, and began to read.

Xaiver sighed while sitting by the fireside in a nook near the far corner of the inn, sipping some hot cocoa. His eyes glanced momentarily out towards the nearest window, which showed dancing snowflakes.
"What a night," he muttered to himself, staring at the dancing flames from the fire.

"Come on!" yelled a voice from outside. Anyone who looked out the window or was outside would see a most peculiar sight - a Storm Griffin, only a youngling (12 in Griffin years), trying to get an extremely stubborn British Unicorn to stay put. He tried getting on, but only got thrown off. That youngling finally managed to get her to stay put, and he rested against the wall, moaning. "Stupid unicorn."

Laena Shoni suddenly bursts in. She slams the door behind her, sighs, and plunks some coins down on the counter of the inn, and swings over to get a drink. Then, she walks to Cyra and sits.
"Mind if I sit here?" she asks.

Xaiver's eyes glanced toward Laena momentarily, but back to his cocoa and the fireplace.

A young woman sits in a chair by the fireplace, watching the play of shadows on the wall. At the sound of the new arrivals she looks up, her hand straying to a polished walking stick by her side.
"Evening."

Xaiver's eyes dart around the room once more as the flame in the fire slowly dies. He sighs and slips another log in with the poker, who is really a pink blob.
"Thanks," he nodded to the pink blob who had returned to his pants pocket, nibbling on a stale cracker.
"I really should name you, shouldn't it?"
The blob nodded.
"Well, because you can change shape, I guess I'll call you morph," he said to the blob as he resumed his seat on the sofa. Morph gurggled in reply.

Tylvanias hears a voice from outside and some commotion in the tavern. Saving her spot in the book, she left the room and trodded downstairs. There, she sees more people. She sighs and looks out the window, looking into the night. Memories flood her view. Her eyes spot a unicorn.
"Cool. A unicorn. I've never seen one of those before."
Suddenly, she spots a shape flying through the woods. A cloud in the sky grows dark with each step. She frowns.
"The witch," Tylvanias grumbles. "How I despise her."

Xaiver's ears perk at her words, but he says nothing, not wishing to involve himself in any messy situations he knows he can't handle. Morph becomes a staw and sips some of his cocoa.
"Morph! Now you know that off!"

Gwen smiles to herself as she walks though the door. The inn- or tavern- would be a nice place to rest her feet for awhile. She slipped into a chair beside Xaiver and looked at the pink blob. "Hello there. What might your name be?"

Moonlight, the British Unicorn, looked at Tylvanias and snorted viciously. Her eye gleamed not with pleasure at seeing a young woman, but pleasure at seeing someone to use for target practice. Soon a yelling orc passed by. Moonlight charged and trampled that orc to death before returning to her spot!
Polarri entered the Tavern - or Inn, whatever it was (I don't know the difference) - with a cloak wrapped around himself enough to make him look mysterious. On his shoulder rested Firebolt the Chinese Phoenix, and by his side padded Lupus the wolf. Polarri just sat at a table, ordering a soft mead in such a good voice imitation that he'd easily pass for an adult Storm Griffin!

Tylvanias realizes what the unicorn is thinking. She just sighs and decides to take a walk outside, around the tavern. She steps out the door and walks around, running into a horse. A pure white horse. Then it turns brown with a white diamond shape mark on the forehead. Then pure white again. Tylvanias runs toward the horse. The horse turns black and neighs. Tylvanias manages to tame the horse. The horse snorts in a friendly way.
"I'll call you Shaege," she says to the horse. Then she feeds the horse some food, then leads her to a nearby tree, and ties her on. She put something on her back so she would stay warm. Then she walks off toward the wood, and spots the witch. She growls.
"THIS ENDS HERE!" Tylvanias screams and lunges for the witch. Meanwhile, back in the inn/tavern, shouts are heard from outside. Then Tylvanias walks in, rubbing her neck.
"I try to end it and now my neck become cricky. Great, Just great." Then she walks toward the window and looks outside again.

"No," Cyra replyed to Laena Shoni. "I needed some company, after all." She smiled and asked the woman's name, but loud shouts from outside grabbed her attention more than the woman's answer.
She looked out the window and saw a kid, about 12, perhaps, storming into the inn. There seemed to be something wrong with her neck. Cyra was somewhat puzzled at what a such a young human could be doing in an inn, so late and so far from any human towns.
Her eyes wandered through the inn before Cyra placed her attention on the woman sitting by her. She noticed a young man in a distant table. He had a ponytail and a pierced ear. Cyra thought "handsome..." and gazed at him for a couple of seconds.
"So, tell me, why are you here?" Cyra eventually asked.
[From your posts I see Inn and tavern are pretty much the same thing. I apologize for this mistake, but I thought an inn was a house where people go to rent rooms and a tavern was a bar. Ignore that I treated it as two separate things...]

Johia entered the small in, he looked up. The whole room went silent. He walked across to a shadowy table in the corner, not suprised by the peoples reaction. He had seen a hundred lifetimes worth of it.
He looked around the dusty room, a couple of people caught his interest.
