Well excuse my reading fail on an iPod with small letters that don't get bigger. I'll check it out, I guess. D: /hugs. I'm not sure if you'd like it, though. The first one act is kind of confusing and a good portion of it is not related to the rest of the comic? also, it's extremely long and requires a lot of re-reading and if you want to fully appreciate it you're going to have to do a lot of thinking and making connections and there's a lot of space and time mumbo jumbo and references to internet memes and doctor who and the main characters are all thirteen years old... which means... thirteen-year-old drama and not to mention the language but imo it's definitely worth it wow that made it sound bad

Reviving this because why not. I haven't been very good at keeping up with webcomics lately. xD I've just been following a few. At some point, I need to archive-binge Dreamland Chronicles. Since I took a break from reading it after... ...The apparent death of Nicodemus.
I mean, I knew it wasn't over due to that, due to the author saying that it was about halfway over, or something. I just wanted to put some space so I could read it at a better pacing, and I guess I just lost track. xD So yeah, need to get back onto that at some point.

Uh. Am I reviving this, is that bad, tell me if this is bad. Anyway. I have found a shinylovely comic and it is great and I wish to fling it enthusiastically at people. =D Snow by Night. www.snowbynight.com/index.html It's, um, it's got this pair of thieves in this interesting colonial world (not something we get to look at very often in fantasy! And the worldbuilding is fantastic, like wow, details) and I think they're getting into something that is way above their head and it's so great. The worldbuilding's lovely, like I said - nothing's shoved at you while you're reading the comic, but the maker's got all this information on the world on the website as well and it's really fascinating and, and slang, there is well thought out slang and curious snow-ladies and help I am enraptured. It's, uh. It's basically ... sitting at a rough-hewn table with shady friends and a drink in your hand, and outside it's snowing slick and icy, but here there's a fire, at least, and there's singing and the rowdiness of crowds, and there's money in your pocket. Is. The feel of it basically, except I described it wrong and also emitted the cool magics. EH

A Redtail's DreamIncredible art. Updates daily. That's madness. I'd also like to recommend String Theory, but I don't know if I can link it because I can't remember how bad the content is! Violent for sure.

I normally wouldn't go around necroposting on a thread that's been dead for about a month, but I'm incredibly curious to see if anyone else has seen the latest XKCD strip. If you haven't, you seriously should.(Although it's a massive time sink. Just throwing that out there.)

You guys, if you haven't yet, go underground, it's amazing
but maybe I just have this newfound fascination with massive underground tunnels
either way though

On OOTS -- Woah, what? 3 strips 3 days in a row? No doubt Rich's hand is doing better, but it seems odd. And he didn't mention a "week-long daily strip encore". Not that I'm complaining. xD As long as he doesn't hurt himself again. Man, it really made me sad to see Malack and Durkon's friendship fall apart. They weren't the only one enjoying their conversation. (Though I did enjoy the banter in the most recent strip.)
I guess I could see why Durkon could think there was "no compromise", given the required safety of the gates. But seeing him lambaste Malack for being a vampire made me cringe, especially knowing his method of getting food. I actually feel really sorry for Malack. Alignments aside, he just wanted a friend. And it's probably not the first time he's been rejected for being a vampire.
Anyway, Durkon vs Malack. Place your bets.
...*Places bet on Malack.*

The newest page of OOTS made me sad. OOTS #906 spoilers. It made me go "Woah" more than anything.
A small part of me is sad to see Malack go, but at the same time I kinda knew that it had to happen ever since his encounter with Durkon. Kinda solidified his evilness there.
Now I wonder what's gonna happen with Durkon. If the Master is dead, he's most likely released from the thrall, so...

It's kinda sad for me, cause Malack was probably my 2nd favorite character in the series, and really moving up close to first. But what's more upsetting is that it was Nale who killed him off. I really don't like Nale XD
The really hard part is going to find out what Tarquin is going to do. On one hand, he's really pragmatic in his villainy, and Nale just killed one of his closest friends and most powerful allies. Not to mention how much he really hates his son.
On the other hand, Tarquin doesn't seem like the type to let something like that bother him. He might actually go so far as to be impressed that he managed to pull it off.
I dunno. Tarquin is someone I have a really hard time getting a good read on. I don't think it will end well for Nale though. I do suspect, however, that a certain goatee-wearing someone will end up with Roy's sword.

Random necro post! Regarding recent OotS events (#929-ish): is it just me, or is this entire storyline trying reeeaaally hard to make Tarquin unlikeable

Random necro post! Regarding recent OotS events (#929-ish): is it just me, or is this entire storyline trying reeeaaally hard to make Tarquin unlikeable Most likely, considering how he'd been built up before as this amazing, magnificent villain. You can't be rooting for the empire in OotS.
But yeah, he's going just a touch nuts. He must know that kicking puppies (aka: Elan) like that isn't good for him.
