Thanks! I did get a second card, yes. And I suppose I'm still beating around the bush, but I tried to answer at least a few questions. Oh, and a note in case anybody wants to use it in further entries -- the "freaky toys" and "kreludite toys" are supposed to refer to the Freaky Factory entry in the Neopedia.

I noticed you managed to get the drugged bit in... I used it in the entry I just wrote, and also explained the attacking of Sholen by the bodyguards. I hope my entry made sense; the plot is getting difficult to wrap my mind around.

Yeah... I was trying, by putting the poisoning at the banquet, to suggest that the attack on Sholen was part of the erratic behavior induced by the poison, and that the Emperor and Sholen had then used it as an excuse to put someone loyal besides Kiyer in the cell, since I thought reasonably_crazy's part seemed to kind of hint at their still wanting to help. (I was also probably influenced by discussion with Nimras.) If their more intelligent moments were normal for them, trying to beat up the Advisor all of a sudden instead of just warning the Emperor about him seemed like a strange way to deal with suspicion! ...And the plot has been hard for me to wrap my mind around for a little while now. But fun to try, all the same.

Good, that's the same as I was thinking.
Edit: By the way, is there a way we can invite some of the more prolific storytellers to the NTWF? They are all talented writers. Sarahleeadvent could be here, or even some of the people with a few trophies whose entries stand out as good (I liked reasonably_crazy's, for example, a lot).

Reasonably_Crazy knows about the NTWF, I've invited her a couple times, but she doesn't have time for another website/forum with work and college. (She's my sister.)

Oh, that's cool that your sister is actually active on the site. My sister made an account, but I don't think she's even logged in for over a year.

Sarahleeadvent has been in the NT a fair amount, so I'm guessing she's been invited at some point.... For all I know she's a member; I actually joined before my first NT publication but was quiet enough that I got invited afterward.

*glee!* I was worried that I was confusing the matter too much, but the editor seems to like it when you throw everything in the mixer and blindside the characters.

I like your twist a lot, Nimras! It gives the whole story a new edge. I found the advisor's sudden name change amusing, though...

A hair pin. I like Reasonably_Crazy's recent entry, but I'm starting to really wonder how this is all going to be wrapped up. I believe I'll have to read this whole story over to get the idea of the plot. I've been reading it as the parts came out (though not entering, mainly because of NaNo deadlines), but it's become rather confusing. I still haven't given up on the idea of that card, though, so I want to enter again.

It's getting to be quite a complicated story.

Yeah, the story is getting really hard to follow. It takes me about twice as long as usual with any entry that I write, trying to figure out how on earth to wrap all these wierd ends together. Yikes. So far she hasn't liked my strange ideas.

Well, I did my best to get the characters all running in the same direction, but since this is my second win, I'm afraid I'm out for the week. ;D

Congrats on the win, Nimras!
But I'm afraid I don't understand what you are alluding to with the scribbled symbol or the missing puzzle piece. I can't think of a symbol that would suddenly bring Kiyer to mind, like the emporer said... Am I just missing something really obvious here?
