Looking at the polls, it seems that more people want GW3 earlier than I expected. Considering that we're near the end of 2008, I think this is a catastrophe. Anyway, bump. We still need to decide on what main plot to play in, or at least jump into before changing it once more to something. :\

[glow=red,2,300]3 people is more than you expected?
No offense, Vyt, but you're jumping the gun. it's a one-vote margin, and if you even out the votes, it's looking more like March.
Meanwhile, two other hopping RPs will likely get crushed in the ensuing stampede. To stretch a metaphor.[/glow]

Either those people weren't really participants of the two multi-guild RPs or they didn't know about it.

Which brought me to the question, "Why did they vote for January?" Either those people weren't really participants of the two multi-guild RPs or they didn't know about it. Excuse me I was one of those voters. Yes. Please explain why you want the GW3 to start in January, because I'm quite curious.

Excuse me I was one of those voters. Yes. Please explain why you want the GW3 to start in January, because I'm quite curious. Well I feel GW is something that brings a lot more people together to do something we love. That something is a collaboration. Every post is like a page to the story, every page of post a chapter. And at the end I go back, and reread the story. Plus it improves rping skills greatly, and it's one of my favourite parts of the NTWF.

Well, seeing how distracted I've been from the internet in general lately, I wouldn't think starting it particularly soon would really be a good idea. XD; Massive textwalls of GW fame + lazy PFA = lack of PFA activity.
I don't really have any particular preference other than that, though. I'm sure I'd jump in no matter when it started.

There's nothing wrong with bring people together to do what they love in, say… *pulls month out of the air* April. I, personally, don't have much of a preference to when we start, as long as it's not too soon. For one, I think we'll probably still be playing with our Christmas presents in January. *logging into WoW WotLK right now* By February that particular thing shouldn't be an issue, but the other RPs will probably still be going, and I'd like for them to be reasonably finished… or inactive (hopefully not) by the time we start GW3.

I'm actually somwhat of the opposit opinion... the less exams I have to worry about over the course of GW the better because when exams hit I'll be dropping the RP for the sake of study and then I don't know if I'd be able to catch up. I'd prefer they start after midterms personally. Catching up after finals is easy in comparison because there;s no more homework continuing to pile up.

[glow=red,2,300]Guild Wars usually last so long that eventually we're gonna run into somebody's exams. The last one lasted how many months? But also, since Redemption is a rough sequel to GW2, complete with recurring villains and unresolved side-plot, I would like to finish that storyline before GW3. And, Mr. Not-in-the-Crew-just-Yet, I'm sure you'd like us to finish this plot too. [/glow]

Like Rider said, we'll eventually be hitting someone's busy time, no matter when we schedule it. Also, by your logic, if you're this busy then March-June would be a great time to start GW to help get your mind off of things. Anyway, I voted for May. Redemption may well stretch on for that long, so I want to leave plenty of time to finish it.

*revives* Okay, there are 17 votes in the polls, which is probably more than my expected number of participants in GW3. "March" and "Others" are the two most popular choices, but I am aware that this poll was done last December. It is clear that we cannot rush GW3 by March since the two multi-guild RPs are not done yet, especially the Ninjas/Mages RP. Therefore, if we still want to continue making GW3 this year, we have two choices: - We can ditch the two RPs and go ahead; or
- Skip GW3 this year and continue the two RPs.
Personally, I'd opt for the former. Both RPs have been experiencing lack of activity, especially the Ninjas/Mages RP where everyone just... left. I'm not ranting or anything, but I'm afraid the ninjas and the mages have eventually stopped participating.
