Oh man. Another Guild Wars? I'm not sure whether to be thrilled or scared.
Um... yeah, I kind of disappeared during the last one, but maybe with homeschooling and all going on now I could stay active in this one. Anyway... I like Amneiger's first idea best. ^_^
@cyborg: If I can keep Salah active, she'll probably be primarily a merc.

In my opinion, the yearly occurence of guild wars does feel very odd. It seemed like we could not really resolve to anything good. Still, it is quite logical to think so, seeing that we are divided into six guilds that follow very different sets of standards and honor albeit with some having coincidental traits (for example, Pirates and Mercs both have the aggressiveness of a pillager, but the former goes for all loots while the latter only keeps what it can hold and expect to be paid from clients).
The reason why I pulled out this thread as early as mid-December is for those guilds to be able to discuss what plots and subplots they can undergo either as a lone guild or allied forces, as well as knowing what the main plot would be. The time is also to compensate for those who have been left out in GW2, so they can properly post if they have the schedule to go with today's Guild Wars III. However, do note that excessive planning will get us nowhere, as excruciating details will most definitely eliminate everyone from being able to participate and contribute to the whole roleplay.
Now to the plots suggested. I like Amneiger's first, second and fourth plots, but I'll have to go with the fourth one. This concerns Underdeep, which is a place where a major event once happened specifically with Ikkin and Sev. It'd be nice to tackle this place once more, and it'll probably fit best with the new character I'll be using along with Vyt himself.
So yeah, I can't think of a good name for the next annual guild fight. I thought "Guild Wars III" sounded good enough.
EDIT: Being the thread creator, I might pull out some famous suggestions and put them in a poll for everyone to vote in. Amneiger already has some plots that some felt great to work in, so vote now and I'll see what I can put up in the poll.

Yaaaay, GW! *is probably like the only excited person here ATM, but hey* Yeah, we should try and get the mercs more active this time around. XD; No offense, Cy, but it was kinda lonely RPing with just you and your characters. Same with the ninjas and Vyt, actually. >_> *pokes inactive ninjas* Though I imagine things might be a little difficult for the poor mercs, particularly the ones who participated in GW2. XD; Like was mentioned in the GW2 OOC. Jernath: Hire a merc? *needs shinies* Pirates/Spacefleet/probably ninjas too: Ew, no way! Dx You tried to ally with us, then turned and betrayed us instead! We don't hire traitors! Jernath: >___>;; ...I swear I won't try to kill you this time? As for plots, I'm fine with pretty much anything we do. XDDD So whatever goes, I'll go with.

Bluisa was meant to be a mage, but also had to be allied to the ninjas for numerous reasons. Maybe we should balance the number issue once and for all. I fear that we'll have another war where one guild outnumbers the others by their members.

[glow=red,2,300]Everlovin' mother. XD I won't pretend that Hunty-kun and I don't jokingly toss GW3 ideas around but honestly, this is early. XD
Just remember that GW2 was talked to death before we started it, and none of the plans on the planning thread were used.
I am totally supportive of the Cthulhu idea. ^_^ *kick'd*
x_o Yeah, um, the pirates and Fleet are probably the two most active guilds. I kind of wanted to get some more guild interactivity going since the whole point of the mages and mercs is to provide services. Generate a little more interest in these guilds and they could turn the tide of the war.
I like Amnei!plot #1 but I'm really seeing possibilities in Amnei!plot #4. You know the Underdeep is one of my favorite NTWF places to play with.
As for recurring villians, you all already know who I want to bring back. The alchemist menace himself. XD [/glow]

Like stealing a precious something and getting away with it. Sounds like GW2, I know. >.< But yeah, the number of members in a guild is directly proportional to that guild's interactivity. Sadly, a lot of guilds have only at most three active members, and most of them have characters in other guilds. I can't risk putting more NPCs to compensate, because that would mean more chances of godmodding and stuff. Yeah, I'm just putting that problem up. Or after GW3, but I'd want GW3 to reap the benefits of Guild Spirit and Comraderie, or at the very least, New Members. And I forgot that ninjas are a service-oriented guild. XD I guess you don't egt a lot of requests for assassination? For the FMA reference, *kick* ^_^[/glow]

Ahh, a non-RP guild competition event? That would attract some new members, but putting it after the two multi-guild RPs' end would spell trouble for timing. The Redemption RP has no problems, but the Ninjas/Mages RP is unofficially put on hold at the moment. Ending our RP might take quite a while. I can try and alert everyone in that RP about your idea so they can go back to the RP real quick. Worse case scenario, we will not be able to finish it. PMing them now, anyway. :3

Another GW? Are you insane?
... Wait, never mind. =D But I am quite a bit more excited about this than I should be. If I do take part in whatever-this-ends-up-being, it'll just be with one character. >.>; *does not want to phail* But ... yeah, no ideas for plot or any such thing. Sorry. ^_^'

My idea: Remember how several of the Gemarians joined guilds? Well, maybe some of them aren't satisfied with the current arrangement and want their own piece of the Entiwuf, or their old lands back, or maybe even to rule. They would start attacking, and if they attack guilds of which they are not a part, it could spark a fight between guilds. Maybe they'll even try to get the moderners to thin eachother out by getting their own guild mad at the attacking guild. ('I say we strike back before it's too late!' and whatnot.)
Remember how it was mention that GW1 mostly involved the Knights and Mages, GW2 mostly involved the Pirates and Ninja, and so GW3 might as well be about the Mercs and 'Fleet? Well, maybe the Mercs could be hired to try and 'borrow' some tech from the 'Fleet, and other than getting upset at the stolen tech, maybe the 'Fleet could try to intervene. At any rate, they would get caught in the fight themselves. (Come to think of it, unless changed in the Pirates & 'Fleet RP, the 'Fleet would still have the half of the original gem that holds the 'calm ones.')

Also, all the dead people from GW3 can participate, though rather indirectly. I'll be roleplaying as someone who can communicate through the dead, so anyone with plans for the likes of Leste can still affect those of the living if things go well. Yeah, I'm looking for people who need my help. Or maybe I'm the one needing help. Shutting up.
