This is a poll for those who already have their ACIII team picked. Nova has an ACIII thread here where you can post your team choice. Now, I'm curious to why you picked the team you did. Some explainations with the first choices: You picked one of the top teams (DC/RI/KI/SH) simply because they have the best chance of winning, thus your chance of extra prizes and a nice trophy are better. You picked one of the better teams over your preferred land, for the reason above but also because you like that team too. You're sticking with the team you like best, whether they're unpopular or not, because you're so loyal. The rest should speak for itself. Please poll and post!

I'm just being loyal to a hometown team (or at least the place I'm building a neohome).

Because I really like Krawk Islands' team colors, as well as they have a decent shot at the Cup, and the fact that KI has always been a team I've considered the past 2 years, so this year I'm taking it. =D

Meridell, just because of the loyalty factor - if Neopia were real, it would be the place I think I would be happiest. Either there or Brightvale, certainly, but the cheating of Brightvale put me off them.

Sort of hard to explain. I'm situated in Neopia Central, but my pets are in the Haunted Woods... but they used to be living on the Space Station... and they're mostly in the Haunted Woods because no one bothers them there. But I'm still affiliated with the Space Station a bit more, because... it's just... where I am if I'm not in Neopia Central.
..of course, this is all in my head, but whatever. So that's why I like the Space Station. xD I gotta' stick with them. If there was a Neopia Central team, I might change, but I dunno. I just don't like the other worlds as well. Hum.

I chose Terror Mountain last year and this mainly because I liked the character designs. xD; That and Terror Mountain is probably one of my favourite Neopian worlds. I have heaps of characters that hang around there. It was a toss-up between that and the Haunted Woods, which, though awesome, don't have Fitel, who is also awesome. =D *likes Bori* 'course, there's always the possibility I'll change my mind. *shrugs*

The first Altador Cup, I went with Terror Moutain. Got over 50 wins on my old '95 laptop with dial-up in the first round. ;D (This is on the old layout, but I'm still proud to have been able to play the game and get over 50 wins on such an old PC. xD) But then, I steadily lost interest after Terror Mountain got defeated. After Meridell and the Lost Desert getting beaten, I finally went with the Haunted Woods for the last two matches. xD Last year, I went with Shenkuu. I just love Shenkuu to bits. And we came in third, too! It rocked! This year, if I get to play (stupid getting locked out of my main account [T_T]), I'm going with Terror Mountain. I promised myself last year that since I didn't go with Terror Mountain that time, I would the next time I play. I'm keeping that promise. And there's my incredibly long story. x)

Sheer loyalty to the Darigan Citadel is what is making me go with them through thick and thin. It doesn't really have a backstory but I've built around it last Altador Cup so now, me and my pets are affiliated with the Citadel in some form or another.
There is no going back but I wouldn't want to for all the Neopoints in Neopia. ^__^

Well, it all started waaay back when I first joined Neo. Shortly after that, the Battle for Meridell started. I participated avidly; I have always been a battler. I came to here from Pokemon, so I enjoyed the Battledome.
However, I kept losing. x___x; Aaaand when the plot ended, I got zero. So, being the person I was, I was pretty darn mad. XD And I looked deeper into the history of Meridell.
I did not like what I saw. The more and more I researched, the closer of an affiliation I felt to the Darigan Citadel. At last, I vowed to always respond to the call of the Darigan Citadel if they were not the aggressor, and not to come to the aid of Meridell unless they were under attack for NO reason.
This includes the Altador Cup events.
And that... is my tale.

I'll be joining Shenkuu because that's where my pets now live, and the Emperor demands it Shenkuu is my favorite world as well. I don't know what team I chose for AC I, or if I even did choose, but I do know that I couldn't even play the game That's why I was so happy about the support system in AC II ;D

Faerieland.
I first joined 'cause I really liked the logo and I just like faeries in general. And I really love the design of the team. I had no idea it would be one of the really unpopular teams. I sort of just... stuck with the team. I was slightly torn between staying loyal to Faerieland and switching to a team that does really well (because like lots of people, I do like to win). But then I remembered this one time where I was getting flamed just for being a part of "Faerieland" and I was all alone trying to protect myself and my team and this random Darigan player popped out of nowhere and was all "I'm impressed with your loyalty."
So, yeah. I was kind of baffled but that's why I decided to stick with Faerieland. I like being loyal. I'd feel sooo guilty and stuff if I changed teams just because I wanted to win.
And it's fun being the underdog. ^__^

I joined Darigan not because it's a strong team, but just because I'm a to-the-death Darigan fangirl. I'd never sway loyalty even if you offered me fifty million neopoints. *firm nod*
