I have an interesting idea for this year, even though I practically know it's never gonna get finished. Anyone wanna hear it?

The goal for NaoNo is to write 50,000 words in November, yes? So are you allowed to finish a novel that's already begun if you still write those 50,000 words?
If so, I may just decide to put off Muse Misplaced and finish my trilogy once and for all. If not, I do feel pretty excited about writing Muse Misplaced...so, well, it's not like I won't enjoy it.

[glow=red,2,300]If you're asking if there's a commitee who enforces this sort of thing, no. It's looked down upon in the community, (so I wouldn't advertise it on the NaNo forums) but it's hardly illegal. ^_^[/glow]

I'm almost starting to reconsider doing this. I just don't have the time, and my brain has turned into jelly from all the homework I've been getting. I want to do it, I just don't know if I can.

If I can write another chapter in my trilogy, I'll do Muse Misplaced. If not, I might decide to just finish it... But if it's looked down upon... well, that would also hinder my taking dares... so... choices, choices...

I'm thinking about what to write for wrimo. I have this fantasy story that could really use a 50k push, but I get super stressed writing it because it is my BABY and it must come out right. But that's a bad attitude to have towards a novel, so maybe I will write it for WriMo. Maybe not. I DON'T KNOW YET!
Yeah.

To use a comparison, Tashni... Who says births are "easy"? And yet...the BABY still comes out right...normally...most of the time.
Anyways, you can always edit it, revise it, rewrite it entirely after WriMo, but at least you would have given it a try.
Once, I wrote a hundred and twenty thousand word novel, then decided I didn't like it, scrapped it, and rewrote the whole thing. Guess what? I like the rewrite much better, and I was only able to write it like I wanted to because I had already written it once.
What is written for WriMo, mustn't remain written in stone .

I'll end up either writing that fantasy story or this sci-fi story that spans several generations of aliens that I've had in my head for, oh, 6 years maybe? Yep.

Six years... they surely sound like a couple of characters that want to be written about! lol. I'm glad you liked it.
