[glow=red,2,300]I'm definitely writing this year's NaNo as, if not a direct sequel to, then at least in the same setting as last year's NaNo, the MMORPG called Isis Falls. (Before anyone says anything, I came up with this an age and a half before I knew .hack existed. XD Though I confess that the concept of Isis, The Lady of Rivers, is similar to Aura, and she needs a severe makeover.)
I'm not sure of whether I want to do an Isis Falls re-write of Children of Darkness (which I'll probably massacre in my stress-filled need for words) or whether I want to do something a bit more original. (I have a few ideas regarding two girls who get on the bad side of the Guild of Assassins, but nothing too solid. It does, however, include shojo-ai.) Because art imitates life and the NTWF is the closest thing I have to a life, there will be numerous parallels with and allusions to the NTWF, regardless of which plot I choose.
Good thing I still have oodles of time to decide, aye?

I'm struggling with inspiration too... The only thing I can think of at the moment is expanding an idea I had for an Aubrise story (my Cybunny archeologist...) but including all the bits I'd never be able to put in for an NT story (romance, a bit of gore, possibly a wedding, etc...)
