Oh, I don't think it's over QUITE yet. The guys just want to get back to Neopia in time for the games..... ...... ..... But little do they realise that the "island" is actually *dramatic voice* a gigantic TURTUM!!! And the "Fruit" is really *dramatic voice again* A PETPETPET EGG!!! IT WILL HATCH AND THE CRIES OF THE INFANT WILL ECHO OVER THE WATERS OF NEOPIA, ATTRACTING THE TURTUM TOWARDS NEOPIA WHERE THE MONSTERS WILL SWARM THE SHORES AND ATTACK ALL WHO STAND IN THERE WAY!!!! Continuing the off-topic-ness... Where does it say stuff about the Altador Cup? It's not in the news and there's no sign-up at the colosseum. Am I missing something?

I hope Shenkuu is a team; I would absolutely join them ;D I want to play in the Altador Cup this time around, but I really wasn't able to play well in the practice games  I think if I had more time to practice though I could get better  |

All it said in the Neopets magazine was "June 2007" so there's a chance it'll start today. Then, while the Neopet people are busy playing/supporting the game, half of the Neopet staff will be working on the rest of the plot. Come on, they wouldn't leave us hanging like that.

What I wonder is why did they start the plot so soon if they knew it was going to be interrupted by the AC? They could have saved it up and started it completedly after the games will be over. People can't even fight the battledome opponents in the meantime (Not that I were capable of winning, though.  ) |

...So I guess I'm the only one who thought that the question mark at the end of "The End" meant it wasn't really over. ._. That was an incredibly short plot, if it is. I'm excited for the Altador Cup, since I didn't get to participate last year, but I'd like to see more of this plot too. I am half expecting it to continue later, as someone suggested.
I didn't think the comic page was disappointing, though. Am I the only one who enjoyed the exchange with the captain? "Don't you think we've formed a personal bond on this trip?" XD

XD Naw, Nut, I think lots of people here are willing to bet that the plot will continue on sooner or later. ^_^ Personally, I just think that it will be interrupted by the Altador Cup, and then restart later on. As to why TNT put it close enough to the Cup that it would have to be split up? Look at the reaction they're getting. xD That's reason enough. I giggled on that last page too -- the only problem was that I think it switched from Scrap to Roxton talking without me noticing, so I was sort of lost at first. It was an awesome exchange, though. =3 |
