Soooo... My battle pet's caught in a fight with the buggy. I BEAT him, but I guess he's mad that I beat him 22 times in a row, so he's not letting me go.

I hope I get un-stuck soon!

Try viewing the status page? That should unstick your pet from the fight. ^^;

If the status page doesn't unstick it, unequip and then reequip one of your weapons and that should fix it. :3

If the status page doesn't unstick it, unequip and then reequip one of your weapons and that should fix it. :3

Meh, I still <3 Burrow. Burrow + SoRF + Ramtor's Spellbook. =D Then I just fool around with combos when his HP is in the orange or red zone.[/shadow]

Had I known that the Leaf Shield would go up so much, I woulda stocked up weeks ago x.x *is still a coldhearted businesswoman* But that shield is a gift of the gods. The monster's stronger than my battle pet and I still finish the battle in green HP. For some reason it seems to attack over one round and stay in defense/healing in the next round.

From what I remember, Illusen gives those shields at pretty early stages of her quests. You should be able to get one in a week or so. Scratch that, level 29. I was an avid quester back on my newbie days, that's when I got my shield >>; But it still won't cost more than they're going at the shopwiz right now, it'll just take more time. And they've come in handy in most plots as I recall.

And I just noticed that my battle pet is at level 49 =3 *edges off to the Training School* Time to go berserk.

Berserk does wonders. You'll love it. Just remember you take more damage in berserk.

I'm up to 302 wins now. The roach is up to 466 HP. I haven't really been defending much yet. Even if he hits Finns with everything, he still has at least 70 HP. I should probably start battling defensively soon.

I'm stopping at 35 wins, at least for now. I've never even tried for a win limit before, so this is getting pretty monotonous. xD I'm glad I have a lab pet though - those 200 extra hit points are worth way more than the 585k I paid for the map.

I'm grateful for the Lab Ray too! My lab pet, who is my battle pet, has 579 hit points. I'm at 82 wins right now...and the only thing trying to make me quit is the sheer tediousness of it! The Ravenous Monster hasn't even made Candy's HP go blue yet, which I'm very grateful for ^_^

It's a little more impressive if you bear in mind I'm using a pet who's stats are straight out of birth... :/

Gonna keep trying to win until it becomes so impossible, that it's impossible.

Whee, that was rather repetitive... I hit my goal of 200 wins, so I think I'll do something else now. XP

My former lab pet has 343 hp, but the bug never seemed to bring me into the yellow... I <3 burrow and drain life. ^-^

Congats! That's my goal too...and I'm soooo far away! *sob* Because of my craptastic items (I'm flat broke so can't afford any decent ones), there's a small chance that the monster will be too hard. But hopefully that's just my pessimistic side showing...

You don't really need the best of items for it, you just have to be able to survive those three damaging attacks, once those run out it's just a matter of hitting it until it goes down. With your hitpoints, I think you could get there so long as you have the patience to keep battling it (it does get kinda boring after a while).

I think it hit me for 90-ish with the snow mudball when it got me on a turn I didn't burrow, but most of the time it was a lot less (I had a partial water defense from Hoban's Hat, but after a while that only blocked a couple of the icons... >.>).

You can definitely beat 200 of them, Ginger. ^^

...technically, your HP is so high that, even if you Fierce Attack every single turn and don't defend at all, the monster can't possibly defeat you. XD Since his maximum damage is 578, and you have 579 HP. X3
