So far, this plot is a little to easy. Mind you, ever since OLDPD, the plot boards have reached new untold levels of organization in collective brain power. But even then, this has been a bit to easy so far.

This might be a coincidence, but when I couldn't get the beast to follow me again, try picking up the rotten food and putting it down again. It worked both times for me, so there might be something to it. Oh, and thanks for your image, Komori; the ones I found on various plot guides didn't seem to be helping at all.

Kaljinyu, if he doesn't go into that room when the trap is set, it's possible that you need to find the other spotlight. That's what I had to do. :/ But you could also try wandering around the nearby rooms until you see the "Something seems to be following you" text. So far, this plot is a little to easy. Mind you, ever since OLDPD, the plot boards have reached new untold levels of organization in collective brain power. But even then, this has been a bit to easy so far. Easy? :/ I dunno, that spotlight room was really tough. I don't know how in the WORLD anyone managed to figure that one out. But still, this was really the first puzzle-y thing in this plot (not counting finding the locket, which wasn't much of a puzzle.) The first part of the Altador plot is also easy. So was the Lost Desert (if I remember correctly). Give it a bit of time first?

In stages. First that he'd eat the food if you left it lying around (sometimes even when you weren't in the room), then people started playing around with putting the mirror in the rooms with light, and a few of them got him fleeing his reflection... and then I think I saw the first gleeful OLDPD post about tripping him, and someone was talking about trying to work the chair in, but I was tired and went to bed.

True, but the location of those items was so unbelievably specific. So I still don't see how it could be called 'easy.' It's only easy because someone else found the solution.

I wouldn't complain about it being easy just yet. We've only done 2 steps so far.

YES! I got it! Thanks to those coords. I forgot who posted them, but thank you! Aww! Poor wittle puppy. *huggles Bruno*

Well... I think, though I could be wrong, that the coordinates may not have to be quite exact. That is, I think there's probably some range (if a limited one) that works, and the exact coordinates posted (haven't there been a couple different sets?) are simply examples of things that worked for someone, rather than that people had to edge over pixel by pixel or something until they hit exactly the right one.
I could be wrong about this, but I'm reasonably sure some people have gotten it by arranging things "about like in X's screenshot" instead. *g* Though maybe they were being really exact too.
But no, I can't say I thought it was all that easy to get either!

Well, I just started the plot, got extremly confused, but I managed to find the monster person thing, yep.

[glow=teal,2,300]If Bruno doesn't follow you, just wait in the room clicking at spots without stuff on them. He'll start following you eventually. [/glow]

I tended to have the key in there to pick up and put down away from the other stuff.... but then my browser has been a bit weird lately and occasionally will just flicker and not really load a page, and so when I'm trying to do something on the same one it was nice to have a sign whether it had worked. Silly browser.

Phew.
When you enter the cave, the events already happen to Bruno (only if you got him before) so you don't have to go through coordinates again... *relief*

I wouldn't complain about it being easy just yet. We've only done 2 steps so far. Yeah, it'll probably get harder as it goes on. ^^
