So... where does our story start? ;; [glow=red,2,300]Midsummer, in the Catacombs under Neopia. We're undergoing major cleanup, replacing all of the furniture Hu broke, etc. To keep the forumers from getting in the way, Patjade closed down the forum and sent the forumers to Mystery Island for a hot summer getaway. ^_^ Without warning, an earthquake strikes. Several parts of the forum cave in, leaving only 6 of the larger rooms: Times Lobby, Forum Events, Pen's Point, the Art Studio, Off Topic and the Splatterboard. Huge amounts of rubble block the exits. During the earthquake, Ducky and Bude are trapped in a storage room or something and the floor gives way from beneath them. They land in an underground lake, along with one of Thundy's replica Titanic lifeboats. They clamber into the lifeboat, hit an iceberg that definitely isn't supposed to be there, and die.[/glow] |
