MINE. We can have the pirate/ninja war, if you want. Just remember, you'll have to go to Mindy for that. I'm not sure what my post is in the ninjas anymore, given that I haven't posted anywhere except MS and a few other threads for ages. I wont be anyone's torture toy, until you start posting on other boards again, for at least a week.  Again, I suggest it starts with the murder of one mod, through the finding of their body, somewhere. Then, another, and then maybe one more. We quote all these messages of their untimely demise, and start the mystery, under the title "A Killer Walks Amongst Us..." |

Alright, there is no need for a pirate vs. ninja intro. We can always have flashback scenes later on in the mystery, and flashbacks might be easier since only one person has to write them. We start with the earthquake. We have some sort of radio by which we can contact Ducky and Bude. We're listening to their final moments as the S.S. Seabobcat (or whatever Thundy's willing to donate to the cause) sinks. (This is just off the coast of Mystery Island, and so the iceberg is clearly of magical origin.) There is much crying, and wondering why.[/glow] |

You can totally kill me off, and I'll be like...inactive. Starting soon = no good for me, too. Because as of Saturday, I'll be missing for two weeks (Four Corners vacation with family... and four day car trips, oh joy), with no idea of whether or not I'll have internet access. If I'm lucky and the hotels have internet, I may get on to look at stuff for a little bit... but there's no guarantees. j:-/ |

Well, before we go about finalizing any final plans or plot ideas, first I'm wondering - how exactly are we going to do this? Because right now, I can't quite picture what we're talking about doing. I mean, are we looking at doing an RP-type thing? Keep in mind that we're also going to have to describe things like the environments and such around us. So, pretty much like writing a story.
...I'm pretty sure everyone knew that. It's just something to keep in mind while we're working on this.
And to address the issue of how we can deal with people posting on the other side of the world, we can do one of two things - first, we could have whichever person might not be on at the time of us pulling this off to write out their parts beforehand, then give those parts and their (changed) password to someone else to post for them. Or, if it's going to be something more temporary, we could have someone else just speak for them. As in:
"I don't think we should go down there!" Bude said, eyes wide with terror. "There could be snakes and rats and snakes with big rat-like teeth! And those're the worse kinds!"
"Don't worry about it!" Crystal replied. "If anything happens, I'll make sure to throw you on top of them - that way, your heroic self-sacrificing death will give me time to escape!"
Also, are we going to write out the scripts beforehand, then just post them in order? Are we going to try to post all the parts of a given section at once, or do it over the course of a week?
...And finally, I'd like to note at this point that I know next-to-nothing about RP-ing. ^^;;

Hmm, an actual word-for-word script might take too long to plan out, not to mention it'd be no fun. You'll be given a plotline, allowed to stray from the topic a bit and savagely beaten with a porcupine if you stray too far.
Methinks everyone ought to agree that a little bit of character godmodage is OK. You can make thier characters say lines, but can't make them actually do anything unless you have thier permission, specifically.
EDIT: I'm amazed that none of the forumers have noticed that there are not two sub-boards in Mod Squad. XD Or rathe, if they have noticed, they don't say anything.[/glow]
