The Animal Crossing board game was just... a very disappointing reveal. XD
Mario Party clone we're required to use physical DLC (Amiibos) to play?
No thx Nintendo.

The Animal Crossing board game was just... a very disappointing reveal. XD Mario Party clone we're required to use physical DLC (Amiibos) to play? No thx Nintendo. The PLUS is that it's at least a board game where you're playing against each other.... Unlike Mario Party's stupid, "Lets all travel together!" board game of stupid. *grumbles* Honestly, I would play this just for that fact. However, it won't make any money, because NO ONE WILL HAVE THE AMIIBOS TO PLAY. I would like the Animal Crossing amiibos too....

However, it won't make any money, because NO ONE WILL HAVE THE AMIIBOS TO PLAY. I dunno about that. This will also be able to use the cards, and those are looking like they're gonna be $2.50 for a pack of 3, if the Japanese prices are any indicator. I doubt those'll have the shortage of the figures, and I'd honestly expect the game to come with a card or two packed-in. (Honestly, wouldn't be surprised if that holographic KK Slider is exclusive to the Amiibo Festival) But, as for it being a Mario Party clone? Nope! Because at least Mario Party has mini-games! I watched this played live during the Treehouse, and not a mini-game to be found. Pretty sure it was confirmed this game was So-Not-For-Me when one of the Treehouse people said she liked this game because she could play it with her daughter, who is too young to read yet. Yeah, no thanks. XD That being said, am I the only one who doesn't really care/want a Wii U main series AC? I'm still playing my 3DS one off and on, and I think it greatly benefits by being mobile, so you can check in on your town any time of day. I don't need to be tethered to my TV at home.

I don't think they NEED a console version of Animal Crossing. The DS is easier I think, can play on the go, etc, which makes it better. It would be nice to see the characters on the big screen, but... This sort of game is kind of perfect for the handheld XD
The console can have the spin offs.

There's this experiment I heard from the internet that I want to try out. It requires me being online and visiting someone else's town, who wanna volunteer? (PM me for details.) EDIT: Special thanks to Roughtiger for helping me out! I really appreciate it.

Anyone good with interior decorating? I want to finally get my house looking nice, but I have no idea how to do that on my own.

Anyone good with interior decorating? I want to finally get my house looking nice, but I have no idea how to do that on my own. In other words, preparing yourself for the release of Happy Home Designer, which is essentially what you just described in a nutshell. All kidding aside, if you're going for HHA items/awards, use the recommendations Lyle gives out. It may be boring, but having a theme in mind will help you, especially if you have all of the furniture for that particular theme (like the Modern Set). Also, if you have access to the 2nd floor of the Museum, open up one of the exhibit halls and practice from there (preferably the one that's closest to the lockers). The 4 exhibit halls are the same size as the largest room size you can upgrade to with your home.

I was thinking more along the lines if anyone wanted to visit my dream village and give ideas Anyway you want it really. Are you looking for something that'll match the theme of your town? Or just anything? Or maybe something like Mine? Which is themed the average home. Lounge, kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, special room overrun by plants, secret royal basement where mysubjectsbowtomeandmysuperiorawesomenessandgetpunishediftheydontdoasIsay. You know...normal stuff! You could also do something like a story with your rooms. I've seen some towns who have remade fairy tales, Or turned them into cafe's, bath houses, hotel...motel..I always forget the difference, haunted homes, creepy pasta stuff, So on.

Speaking of HHA, I'm not entirely was the points allocated according to one theme per room or a theme for the entire house?
Cos I kinda got confused as I've 5 rooms with the following themes:
Centre: Golden (Incomplete) Left: Pirate (Complete) Right: Zen (Complete?) Back: Spooky (Incomplete?) Top: Robo (Incomplete)
Any comments and suggestions?

I always go with each room a different theme. I try to keep them linked a little (I usually go with a sort of Japanese theme). But one type of furniture or whatever per room for me. I've been slacking at working on my house honestly.
