*floats into this foreign thread on a 3DS* Convince me to get this game. I'm on the fence. You should get it. :3 It's super fun. Being the mayor is awesome and the customization possibilities are amazing. Traveling to friends' towns is so easy, just the push of a button. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and play at least a couple hours per. The way it works in real time means there are always new things to do every day, reasons to log on. ... and you can have pet SHARKS. SHARKS, I say! |

Once you can enact ordinances (at like day three or something), you can make it so your flowers never wilt and cockroaches never invade your house and weeds never come up, which is a nice change from previous games. People give a lot of notice before they move, too, and you can convince them to stop easily, too. The town itself will always be there; it's not like it decays or anything.  You can get... pretty much any bug or fish imaginable as a pet. At least any one that's programmed into the game. I'd say it's definitely the best Animal Crossing so far, so whether you've played any in the series before or not, I'd still recommend it. (plus there are tons of rich NTWFers playing that can invade your town and burninate the countryside help you get started.) |

Is anyone willing to let me come visit and give me furniture to pick up then drop for my catalog? >__> I still don't have Cyrus awake and counted yesterday, and realized I just have like 45 pieces cataloged, haha, I suck. xD; EDIT - Thank you so much for letting me visit, Ian! I got enough furniture somehow and Cyrus is now awake. ^__^ |

Yeah, the only one glaring weakness I can see with this game is their method of giving out promotional items. Not only is it location-restricted, but even after waiting half an hour at Best Buy trying to get Pelly to connect (which worked much faster last time, after about as much fiddling trying to get it to connect), even though it showed a Nintendo Zone connection on the DS menu, I got nothing to show for it other than 15 minutes of a very unhelpful "Checking contents...". And sure, come on over if you feel like it. EDIT: read your edit. Congrats! |

Cyrus is now awake. 8D Yay. ... what does he do? XD He recolors furniture if you give him gems. Nothing too spectacular. I think he can also make gold furniture if you give him gold nuggets, though. |

XD The screenshots just go to your 3DS camera menu. Unfortunately, the camera is a bit lossy, so you may have lost a little quality. :/ I think you would have seen the smaller crown. There's a larger, more regal-looking one that goes for 1,200,000 Bells. |
