Re-Tail's actually open until 11PM normally. I have no idea how late it stays open with Night Owl.

Retail's open 'til 2 am with the Night Owl. :3 Considering I don't get home from work until about 7:30, I can't have any other ordinance. XD I mean, I guess I COULD just shift my town time over a couple hours, but I'll keep it night owl for now. Maybe when my playtime starts to falter to every few days instead of every day, I'll switch over to the beautiful town. Also Carrie, you should totally use Underwater Floor for your shark pit.  You get it from the museum expansion if you've donated 30 fish. Or I can just give you mine the next time I play. :3 |

I actually am currently waffling on shark pit. xD See, I made an nice arrangement of their tanks on my main level, and I kinda like it. >___>; I may shift it to the basement once I get the basement larger (I don't think it'd fit more than two tanks right now, and I have three 8D). For now I have a ping-pong table and bathroom stall in my basement. Rec room/toilet. *nods*

Because I swapped out Night Owl for Bell Boom because I need to get up earlier every morning and I'm trying to push my sleep schedule to earlier in the evening. (hasn't worked out well so far) Things still shouldn't close at 8 though? >__> Except like the garden store and Nook homes. Re-tail is open to midnight, yeah? >__>; You're right; I was focused on the Super T&T (Nooklings' store) because that was the one that you would have wanted to visit for the walls/floors. |

Oh, they close that early? o_0 Seems so weird cos I know the first upgrade is open uber late. xD I wonder the logic they used when picking which Nookling opened/closed at what time, hah. "Little shack closes at 10-- but second upgrade, let's close that at 8! PERFECT! " |

I think that's 'cause one Nookling works the night shift, and they can't work too late because they need to go to bed!

So, shot down two balloons, both carrying silver slingshots.
If anyone wants a silver slingshot they are welcome to have it. (I already have a silver, gold and the normal one you buy from Nooklings.) So I have no need for it.
Edit- And I shot down another. Mysterious sender stop sending me all these slingshots!
And I've got another if someone wants it. (if not I'll sell it.)

Whoo, finally getting my first Nookling upgrade! Took long enough. xD Hopefully the furniture will be a bit better, and some walls/floors. I could really use a lot of stuff they haven't had for sale so far (e.g., more lamps-- my basement is pitch black-- and floors and things xD). |

:3 Found Rebrandt's "The Night Watch" at Redd's yesterday. Since I refuse to look up a guide for the fakes, finding this painting took some googling. XD Started with Caravaggio, though, because the painting was soooo black. Then his Wiki suggested he'd influenced other artists like Rubens and Rembrandt, so then a Google image search of Rembrandt turned up this painting. I also learned about Tawaraya Sotatsu's Wind God and Thunder God screens, because that was one of the fakes he had for sale. Hooray for learning! /art nerd |

So it's one of my villager's birthdays today. And he and another villager are in his house, all happy and whistling my town song. And I just have to say, "The Imperial March" sounds SUPER scary when it's being whistled in a dissonance by two villagers. >__>
... also, one of these days I am going to catch a tarantula without it knocking me out first. xD

Blah, so I did an exterior pavement upgrade and now I hate it. xD I'ma do another one and hopefully that's better, hah. I'm waiting on a brown brick exterior. Hasn't popped up yet, though. >__>
Also, soo tempted to just set my game clock back again a few hours and then switch out Night Owl for Beautiful Town. Watering flowers is a pain. ;-;
EDIT - Chyeah! 8D My dumb anteater is moving out of town. I'm glad. xD

I've done it, got the perfect town thingamajig!
I think that Jacob's ladder flower is the sign for a perfect town status.
If that's so then I've had it for a while without realizing. XD (It was only after I found out about this that I went and got them extra upgrades....three days after the flower appeared.)
