Myde, Ydem, Dmyd, Dyme… I'm banking on either Myde or Dyme. Well, the running theme/rule seems to be that their somebody names don't begin with the same letter as their nobody names. Xemnas = Ansem (a technicality) Xigbar = Braig Xaldin = Dilan Vexen = Even Lexaeus = Aeleus Zexion = Ienzo Saix = Isa Axel = Lea Demyx = Luxord = Marluxia = Larxene = Roxas = Sora Which only makes Luxord's name more difficult. XD At least Larxene's anagrams nicely into Relena. (or Arlene, but that sounds a little too close to Larxene IMO) Of course, they could still go for something completely random. XD "Dourl", maybe? Or "Orlud"? "Rudol"? That last one sounds like someone tried to name their kid Rudolf but forgot the last letter. Maybe "Durlo"? Yeah, you're right, none of these sound plausible... I like "Meyd" for Demyx. Wow, that trailer looks... like this might be intended to be the final game in the series. Still no sign of Treasure Planet or Emperor's New Groove, though. I mean... seriously, The Hunchback of Notre Dame made it in, and Emperor's New Groove didn't? How does that make any kind of sense?
Even though Tron Legacy does look kind of weird, I do like the inclusion, not just as a Tron fanboy, but I feel that since Tron was in the other games, it kind of almost fits. And given Clu's plans in the movie, he makes sense as a villain in a game where you can travel to multiple worlds. Although I [sarcasm]like[/sarcasm] that they just came and spoiled the twist for anyone who for whatever reason still hasn't seen the movie.

I personally really like Rould as a name for Luxord. x)

I'm putting my money on Rudol or Rould. Both are actual names, strange as they might be. XD

I'd go with Ludor for Luxord's name, even though it's way too similar... because it's Latin for "to play" and he's a gambler (they obviously just added a D at the end of "The Luxor" to make his name anyway). The scene with Axel and Roxas has to take place after Xion died, because Roxas never actually heard the quote he was referencing ("I'll always be there to bring you back!"). The only way for him to know about that is if he has Xion's memories.
If there's one thing this trailer makes clear, though, it's that this game is not going to have another KHII-like happy ending (which... shouldn't be surprising, given that KHII is the only game so far with a happy ending). You can see Sora on one of the thrones in Where Nothing Gathers (?!) right before Mickey and Riku get slammed into stuff by Xemnas and Ansem SoD, if they don't make significant changes to the plot of Tron: Legacy, Sora's going to end up devastated (particularly because he's made a choice not to trade the Keyblade for Tron), it's brought into question whether any of Sora's feelings and memories are his own, and the symbolism of there being twelve cloaked figures around Sora is kind of ominous.
Not to mention, there's the tagline: "Light falls to darkness, darkness turns to light" and references to "a Sora that falls and a Riku that flies..."

If it's Ludor or anything starting with "L", he'll break the unwritten letter rule, and the other characters will have to flog him. D: XD but yeah, it does seem like they just stuck a D on the end. I've wondered if they came up with their nobody names first, then realised that they had to anagram them into something, and that's how they ended up with awesome names like "Aeleus" and "Ienzo". ;; Ah, so it was after she phail'd. My first thoughts were correct, then. XD I just figured I was forgetting a cutscene or something. According to the interview Nomura said that DDD will have an "unusual" ending. That could mean just about anything, though. XD I didn't see Tron Legacy, so... uhh... I hope events don't rely on spoilerzzz to that too much. XD but it (Tron's plotline) might not even have any significant role in the overall KH plotline, just like other Disney worlds in the past games. Maybe Sora's extra heart gets removed/returned and and he can't handle it causing him to go DARKNESS OVERFLOW on everyone.

Maybe Sora's extra heart gets removed/returned and and he can't handle it causing him to go DARKNESS OVERFLOW on everyone. Well, it's only an unwritten rule, after all. It might just have happened by accident because the chosen names were the ones that sounded best. xD Plus, that'd free up Dyme for Demyx, which is the easiest to pronounce of his possibilities. Ienzo actually doesn't seem that weird to me, for some reason. Aeleus is definitely questionable as a name, though, as is Braig. xD Then again, Dilan and Even are reasonable alt spellings of real names, and Xemnas' anagram is obviously meaningful. Heh, nope. I thought Roxas was referencing something from the seven days at the beginning of II at first, but I couldn't find it in the script, and I know that line only shows up at one point in Days.
He also said that his first ending concept was shot down. XD Not sure how much that means either, though.
Did you watch the trailers with subs on? The state of Tron in Tron: Legacy was definitely being used as a catalyst for the events shown on Sora's side there, and Xemnas was saying stuff about Sora's feelings/memories not being his own. Plus, they seem to be combining the Disney worlds and the frame story events a lot more than usual, given the number of places Young Master Xehanorts' shown up (which makes sense, given that the "original" worlds appear to be basically limited to Traverse Town and The World That Never Was this time).
I think it'd be kind of disappointing if he simply lost the extra hearts, considering how much effort the Xehanorts appear to be putting into messing with him! It seems more like an extended attempt to break him...

Yeah, the letter thing could very well be just a coincidence. It's one of those things that I noticed and then it was impossible to un-notice. XD Braig and Aeleus are strange names, but at least they're not "Bleig" and "Eleus" as they were misspelled in the KHII secret reports. XD *shudder* Any guesses for Marluxia? Just about every forum I've read on this topic is certain that his name will be Lumaria. How did so many people come to that same conclusion? XD Heh, nope. I thought Roxas was referencing something from the seven days at the beginning of II at first, but I couldn't find it in the script, and I know that line only shows up at one point in Days.

The state of Tron from Tron Legacy is lost on me. XD
I think that if he loses them, he might "lose" them in a way that was part of someone's plan, and not by pure accident. Or perhaps he willingly releases them to their rightful owners after realising what's been happening, but losing them has consequences that the Ansemnorts are able to abuse?
Sora has been carrying around extra hearts that were pretty much pure light. What happens if he loses all of that extra light that he's been depending on? keeping? Perhaps he won't be able to keep the darkness at bay quite as easily.

Hi all, Azzie kindly found this board for me after I had a renewed obsession in KH. xD
I'm sitting around trying to be patient for KH 3D. Got the Mark of Mastery Edition so I can't wait.

I've been keeping my KH cravings in-check by playing 358/2 Days with Phish.
We discovered a way to glitch out of certain maps in Beast's Castle and Halloween Town, and it's very amusing. XD

My copy of KH 3D arrived today! =D Finally a perk to gaming in the UK! XD Anyway I haven't played too much of it yet, only about 1 and a half hours in (i'm a painfully slow gamer XD;) But I'm totally enjoying it so far! - Ohman, the 3D in the CGI cutscenes is pretty awesome. Less so in the actual gameplay, I don't notice it as much there, but watching the opening movie in full 3D is amazing. Heck, even without the 3D the opening movie is amazing! XD I always love watching the opening for the KH games, and this one definitely didn't disappoint! - So first of all, they really do just throw you right into the game from the get-go. It was jarring, not to have that elaborate tutorial session (Who could possibly forget the hours spent in the Twilight Town tutorial for KHII XDD). But this one just pushes you straight in there. They pretty much set up the story of just what is happening as you go along, usually in the form of flashbacks. At the end of some scenes, a little icon flashes in the corner which tells you that a flashback has been unlocked, and then they give you the option to watch or skip it; those flashbacks pretty much set up the entire game and what-not. It seems pretty weird not to have all of the info when starting. - They have done a pretty good job of recapping the story so far. Along with flashbacks, there's a glossary which explains a lot of KH terminology and sometimes the flashbacks provide information of what's happened so far, so that's super helpful as a little refresher. - Gameplay is good. It's very similar to the BBS system, which I really enjoyed. It feels really smooth and the battling is fun. Once I get used to some of the newer gameplay mechanics (flowmotion and reality shift etc.) it'll be a blast! =D - Onto what I think is the only thing that I haven't enjoyed so far; the drop system. I haven't played enough yet to actually experience it, but they've had a tutorial on it, and i'm not a fan. Basically, you can switch between Sora and Riku in the game when you want, which is cool, I like that they're you can just pick between who you want to play as at any time. The thing that I don't like, is that there's a drop gauge, and once that is empty, you're forced to switch to the other character. I think the gauge lasts about 20 minutes, and getting hit by enemy status attacks makes it deplete faster. I dunno, I always like to take my time and just kinda run around and stuff, but this feels like I have to run through and progress quickly before the gauge is empty and everything changes. I bet it'll make treasure chest hunting really difficult. I know I shouldn't judge it so early in the game, but from what i've heard, it does kinda suck. D: But nonetheless, it's still awesome! =D

Awww...you got it before me. Oh wells, you did a great job of not spoiling any game storyline. I think the reason there was no tutorial mode was because that was in the demo version. I am not sure if the demo is worldwide but I was under that assumption. As for the drop gauge, it sounds like it makes things harder but I would have to play it to fully decide how annoying it will be for me. I will get the game on the 31st and play around with the AR cards included in the MoM collector's box. It's cool you got the game already, Jaylee. Hope you enjoy it!

The drop gauge was responsible for at least one game-breaking bug in the Japanese version. (Don't worry about that, though, I'm sure it was fixed in the other language versions along with some the other bugs.) Everyone will have the game before me. XD I still need a 3DS. Don't have the dollars to throw around, and probably won't for a very long time. I really want the game, but I might end up just watching a playthrough on youtube, 'cause that's free and I can afford free! XD

Just got the game! Unboxing photos below! They are a bit blurry since I didn't bother to steady my cellphone like I should have. I won't get to play much though right now. I've been roped in by the TV to watch the Olympic Games in the evenings. Hopefully I'll catch time to play when something boring comes on, except it's never usually boring. I guess I'll just have to see how far I get tonight lol. As for the bugs, I'm sure Nintendo would release patches if they see it as necessary. I know they've patched Mario Kart 7 with an update through the E-shop, granted you were only required to update if you planned on playing online. I think they would try a similar thing as they find some stray bugs that slipped through beta-testing. Outside Box Inside of the Box Inside of the Box (empty) AR Cards 3DS Case off Case on 3DS Art Cards (sorry I didn't have much room to scatter them)

I'm now doing a Cloud-only run in Re:CoM. I posted more about that in my journal, if anyone cares for the details. XD As for the bugs, I'm sure Nintendo would release patches if they see it as necessary. As far as I know, all of those game breaking bugs that were in the Japanese version were fixed for the NA releases. So no patches for us, our version was corrected before it was released.
