Finished Re:CoM and started KHII yesterday.

It's pretty funny. (at least the beginning, anyway) I got quite a lot of amusement just riding around on the skateboard at top speed. XD
Everything is so Final Fantasyish. XD (and Seifer looks like Hobo Phoenix)

and because of that comment Hunter made on the temp 'bloids, I made sure I got enough money to buy a watermelon... but wah. ;_; Oh well, at least I got skillz pointz. XD

I think on average, it's about 2 hours. Longer if you take your time in the mini games. Shorter if you breeze through and learn how to play quickly

We finally have a release date for Birth by Sleep.

...too bad September 7th is so far away. D=

There's also some information about the Voice Actors from the Press Release: "KINGDOM HEARTS fans will surely be in for one unforgettable experience, thanks to an impressive voice cast featuring the talents of Mark Hamill, Willa Holland, Jesse McCartney, Leonard Nimoy and James Woods, among others."

Jesse McCartney is, of course, playing Ven, and James Woods is Hades. Leonard Nimoy has been placed as Master Xehanort by voice using the newest trailer. I think we can assume Willa Holland is going to be Aqua's VA, and Mark Hamill is either Terra or Master Eraqus (and I'm hoping the latter, because if Terra's a day over twenty I'll eat my hat).

I just beat KHII.

Sooo, what is everyone's opinion on the most difficult boss battle in the game?
The only boss I found challenging was Xigbar. I beat him on my first try, but it was pretty tough compared to the others. XD When you lower his health, he moves around at FZero speed and barely lets you land a hit. Might've been easier if I had used a Drive form... but I wanted to beat all of the bosses without Drive spamming. XD

Also, Keyblades for everyone, apparently! Yay!

Now for that Days game...

EDIT: Also, I went through the entire game without using a single summon. XD

Yeah, I only used summons to see what they did really... Once I tried them, I never really used them again.

Xigbar... I think he was my hardest fight to, especially if you don't have jump or glide or something upgraded (I forgot which).

And yes, Keyblades for everyone XD

EDIT: Oh yes, and that one battle where you get Axel as your ally...? I totally sat there watching him fight and didn't help him. It was amusing. XDXD

Sanctuary is a good song. The fact that little backwards blurbs are inserted into it makes it even more awesome.
I love reversing songs (as you might notice if you've read my journal here XD) and seeing how intelligible they are.

I have this suspicion on how purposeful the entire reversed song sounds... especially this part:

The "My heart's a battleground" line is the only line in that part that isn't reversed... listening to it backwards, she doesn't say garbled nonsense on that line like you'd expect, but somehow very clearly "I will not destroy 'em"

Probably a huge coinsidence, but... XD I mean, they knew people were going to try reversing it, right? XD

Does the multiplayer mode require two game cards?


I was teasing Phish, saying that no matter who he chose for multiplayer, I'd pick Axel and purposefully try to kill him. XD

As far as I know, it does. =/

And you're a meanie-head for trying to make Axel fight the ally-battle alone. xD I tried staying near him once to watch his animations, and it just made me a sad kitsune because he kept setting himself on fire. D=

Aww, nuts. I don't know if it's worth it to get two copies of the game just so I can multiplayer with Phish...

I was watching his animations, too. "Look, he's fire-surfing on his chakrams! lawl"
He looked like he was low on stamina. "He needs more PP"
... then the cutscene happened.
"AXEL USES EXPLOSION." and "Okay, now he needs a revive."
and then we were laughing at his corny death-speech.

Getting back to Kingdom Hearts release news:

Kingdom Hearts Re:coded has been confirmed as a Nintendo DS game, to be shown for the first time at E3.

(For those who don't follow Japanese KH news, "coded" was originally released for cellphones in Japan, and didn't have an NA/EU release for obvious reasons. It follows the adventures of Mickey and a digital copy he made of Sora as they attempt to find out why Jiminy's Journal had some lines he didn't write in it)


Also, there's a trailer up featuring gameplay from the English version of Birth by Sleep, where you can get a little bit of a feel for Aqua and Terra's voices (Ven's too, but he just sounds like Roxas).
